Elios

Elios' family moved around a lot as Elios grew up due to the deep rooted hate that his older brother had for him. His brother and parents were all human - making Elios a 'freak' and a 'monster' in his brother's eyes. He was doted on by their parents but at his brother's hand he suffered horrible physical and mental abuse. Elios was warned to never speak a word of what happened to their parents, threatening to kill their parents if he ever tattled - so Elios suffered quietly and hid the physical evidence of his brother's actions. Unfortunately, this was not enough for Elios' brother. When Elios was twelve years old his brother began to slowly turn the rest of the community against him through children and rumors eventually resulting in a plan by the city council to take Elios and get rid of him. A family friend who worked for the council had overheard this and warned the family in time for them to all flee - the parents unaware of their eldest's betrayal. They lived in seclusion, moving around twice a year and trying to keep Elio secret but his brother continued to try and find ways to torment him and warn people about him. Eventually - the brother's rumors lured strange to the house one night out of curiosity for a 'pink haired demon'. The brother let them inside and was promptly killed. The parents, upon hearing a disturbance, attempted to fight but were also killed as Elio was dragged kicking and screaming from his bed.

The next nine months of Elios' life would be the worst of his life despite how short. He was taken by servants of a man who went by the Collector and was given as a gift to his husband, Diaval, as a way to allow the man to blow off steam. Every time Diaval left him Casimir would come in to get him cleaned up and healed him. Luckily for Elios, almost nine months after his kidnapping, Diaval and Casimir were killed and he was rescued.

Elios was taken to the floating island of Skaia by his rescuers and quickly imprinted on four in particular - Nikky, Azzy, Sunshine, and Vex.
