Profile

"...And the world counts up to ten."

T-03-59 "Die Sonne" is an ALEPH-class, Red damage-dealing abnormality with a Qliphoth counter of 2. It responds best to Insight and worst to Attachment. The abnormality superficially resembles an embryo-like form, though one that is far from human, more lizard-like in shape. Its deep, shiny red eyes remain closed while in containment, and small nubs, resembling undeveloped wings, sprout from its back. These details are difficult to see with the human eye, however, as the abnormality constantly produces tremendous amounts of light, bathing its containment chamber in eye-searing orange. The creature does not move from its position, hanging in the air, and never opens its eyes. That said, it is not entirely incapable of motion. It will occasionally stretch its neotenic limbs in a sleepy manner, or flutter its tiny protowings.

Alongside the obvious risk of optic damage, the light it emits seems to damage skin and muscle cells in the human body, faster than the Sun’s normal UV would. Mild epidermal damage, akin to a sunburn, is the first noticeable symptom of this process, though these "sunburns" do not peel and do not heal as quickly. More prolonged exposure causes a softening of the skin and flesh as cells deteriorate, culminating in a disgusting "melting" of the flesh as the victim's body structure entirely fails.

When outside of containment, T-03-59 appears in the main room of a random department, filling that room with the full radiance of its light. All other rooms of the department are also flooded with light, though a weaker, diluted sort. Agents in the main room recieve RED damage (5) every 1 second; agents in other rooms of the department recieve RED damage (2-3) every 2 seconds.

T-03-59 directly attacks agents via a beam of concentrated light, doing heavy RED damage (10-15) every quarter-second to those caught within it. This beam sweeps across the bottom of the main room, and is telegraphed via a prominence of light from either its left or its right wing (indicating which side of the room it will start on).

Inspired by S. D. Locke's Proposal, and the song Sonne by Rammstein.
