Chai's all bluster and no bite under his cheeky visage. Though his days of wandering alone as a lost orphan are long gone, he still has his insecurities about fitting in as an adult. He's been a limpet to his first adopted father, Kaden, for so many years that he finds himself struggling to make an identity for himself outside of his tight-knit family. If you ask his friends, like JJ, Chai is a definite daddy's boy. He's the undisputed baby (if you ask his siblings Anais and Adrien) but hasn't exploited that title outside of simply letting his older siblings (and sometimes dad) come to his rescue whenever bullies tried to prey on his noticeable bravado. He's mellowed out into a sweet, soft-spoken teen making his way through Pre-Med in college to follow in his father's footsteps to becoming a field surgeon. He's overheard his father lament that Chai might be too vulnerable for some of the major vices he could come across as an adult, but Chai thinks he can handle it fine. Chai knows he just needs to build up more confidence! And there's never been anything he's confronted that he wasn't able to learn from, anyhow.
