Shade Carter

Backstory

Shade is the daughter of Loki as well as Logan's little sister. Shade can use sorcery and can is trained in sword fighting like her brother. However, she is more skilled in sorcery than he is (and definitely doesn't bring it up constantly/s). Shade is the youngest of her friends and is seen as the little sister and glue of her group. She is high spirited, stubborn, and craves adventure. When SHIELD went to recruit her, she immediately accepted, thinking it sounded like the coolest thing in the world. This, in turn, is what led most of her friends to accept their recruitment as well. She loves reading, gaming, acting, anime, and anything else that allows her to escape to realities that aren't her own.

Shade was always close to her dad. He knew what it was like to be the younger sibling and the one that no one liked and she looked up to him for being nice despite that. Because of this, the events of the first Avengers movie hit her especially hard, watching her biggest roll model (not to mention father) become a mass murderer for almost no reason.

Shade was never great at making friends in school, often being seen as weird and annoying by her peers. However, one year when she decided to take dance lessons, she managed to become friends with a girl named Maddie. Though she didn't last very long in dance lessons, Shade and Maddie remain best friends to this day and even though she knows it makes her happy, she kind of resents her brother for dating her best friend. 

Present Day

After the events of Endgame and after coming back from the blip, Shade was asked by Thor to become the Queen on New Asgard. Though she didn't really want it, after seeing all her friends moving on to their lives, she reluctantly accepted. She is loved by her people and she usually takes a month or two out of every year to go traveling by herself.
