Titania's Links
Given that Titania IS Adalynn (at least in a way), she feels she truly understands how the Changeling feels, and genuinely believes she would be happier as Queen of the Faeries. What she doesn't know is that the lingering echoes of TItania's essence makes her feel that way, and she's more than just a bit out of touch with who she used to be, all the power, responsibility, and most importantly, *humanity* changed Titania in such a way that she could still be considered Adalynn, but in many ways, isn't.
Which shocks and upsets her when she's rebuked by her past self.
She doesn't quite understand why her past self doesn't want to be her (Again, because of the warped essence), so she visits her every so often, continually attempting to change her mind, and failing every time. Unaware that forces beyond her control conspire to make sure this is the only timeline where Titania (as she is now) can exist
Adalynn first met Titania on the night of an important night, the night after she played the role of Titania (the original queen) in a play, it was a happy night, one she cherishes (She keeps the dress made for her as a reminder), so when she was greeted by a distorted, warped, and pretty much cracked reflection of her not long after, she was horrified.
What could've happened to make her forsake her humanity and become... this? Power was one thing, but what lead to this...?
Titania made promises of eternal joy and making everyone else happy, but every sentence made Ada question it, it didn't sound fun for anyone but her, it sounded... selfish, almost. Granted, she was selfish, but not like this. Especially since being Queen probably meant all sorts of responsibility... which Titania clearly wasn't doing much of, if she slacked off and came back in time to try and make sure she happened!
While Titania had the horns she longed to have one day, she shook her head and firmly said
"If it means being as weird and messed up as you, I'd rather stay a Changeling!" before fleeing.
Adalynn resolved to never take up any offer from Puck, while the promise of becoming a fae sounded nice, if it meant becoming such a dangerous and... weird being, she'd stay who she was. And if she did one day become a fae, she wanted to be responsible. That'd be what Grimoire would want, anyway!
