A character from a cancelled 80's cartoon stuck inside a dark place. Their show ran for a good 7 seasons, but low ratings and changing values was the cause of them being removed from air.
Their show mostly featured Mercury and their crew fighting monsters and aliens and adventuring through the galaxies.
Up until the mid 2000's, Mercury and their crew, including Blanket, sat suspended in a dark place. A dying child wished to meet Mercury before they left the world. Blanket and the rest of Mercury's crew were left behind.
Mercury found that they have the ability to communicate with Blanket and even bring him out of the dark place for short periods of time. This does not come without drawbacks however, and whenever Blanket is out of the dark place, he is extremely glitchy and his physical form is unstable.
Blanket is adventurous, funny and sweet. He looks up to Mercury greatly. Although Blanket lacks a jetpack, he is a trained astronaut like Mercury and can pilot rocket ships. He loves playing arcade games and will often try to get Mercury to play them with him.
