If you asked 10 different people to describe Chipix, you'd get 10 startlingly different answers. That's through no fault of their own, though, Chipix is just way different around different people. She's got a lot of facets of her life going on all at once, and can't quite be bothered to try and coordinate any of them overlapping. Though she's incredibly busy with all her hobbies, most of them involve hanging out with people, so she's never starved for emotional connection.
What isn't Chipix doing at any given time? When she's not tied up with her band, her pottery, fishing, performing, or anything else that's on her agenda for the day, she's usually hanging out in her outglut garage, letting people swing by and start conversation if they so choose. Chipix thinks that the only real culture in life, like good food or music, is to share what you have and expect nothing in return. So she commits herself to making music and joy for the people around her, so that the world can be a little better.
Character
Chipix is an extremely versatile being, capable of busting out 50 unrelated skills in a minute without blinking an eye, but never bragging about her ability, either. Chipix prefers not to draw attention to herself and instead enjoy time within a group, preferring connection instead of competition with others. She's only here for a short time, so why not spend it loving rather than fighting?
On the outside, Chipix is your exceedlingly average bronzeblood with little to contribute to the world before she is inevitably swallowed up by the system. And while that may be true in some sense, Chipix lives life to the fullest despite that, defying her destiny by enjoying every day and keeping herself busy so as to make as big of an impact on as many people as possible.
Abilities
BEAST SPEECH: Chipix has the Bronze psionic ability of communicating rudimentarily with Lusii. Unfortunately for Chipix, she lives in the suburbs where this is hardly ever needed, and so the skill is largely neglected. This was, however, very useful for training her lusus and still regularly used to do so.
ADAPTABILITY: Chipix is a quintessential jack-of-all-trades. Her skillset is extremely varied and she loves picking up new skills as a hobby. She sings, writes music, makes pottery, fishes, performs, and hunts in her free time- and those are just the things she's doing this month! She's always down to do something new; who knows, maybe it'll be the next thing she slots into her routine?
Notes
- Wet socks are Chipix's self-proclaimed worst enemy.
- Chipix is the Bassist in her band with Vithie. She writes about half of their songs.
- Fairy lights are the main source of light in Chipix's hive (don't ask how that's not a fire hazard).
- Chipix refuses to wear any pants other than jorts in any weather.
- Chipix's spice tolerance is the highest out of all of her (many) friends.
Relationships
Vithie Illati [ Bandmate ]
Vithie is Chipix's closest friend, and probably the only one who actually knows how many things Chipix is juggling all at once. The two are practically inseperable and go together like grub sauce and jelly.
Arnika Lenoxe [ Besties ]
Arnika is one of Chipix's closest friends- they've known each other since their trials and have always had each others' backs through thick and thin. The two are like a pair of thieves.
