Durumis was born as Delta, the youngest child in a family living in a seaside town. Her father was a sailor; she dreamed to be like him, but women were known to curse boats. Instead, she worked in the local market when she became old enough, trying to feed her sickly mother while her father was away. One day, when she was 14, her father came back from a voyage. He had lost an arm fighting a sea monster, and he could not sail any longer. From then on, Durumis hated any mention of sea monsters or sailing.
As Delta got older, she realized she did not find any of the men in her vilage attractive. She did not want to settle down and start a family with any man. She decided she was going to work hard and get enough money to leave the town after her mother's death and live alone. She had learned many self-providing skills and knew she had what it took. As she believed, her mother passed away, and Durumis kept working with her father to achieve her goals.
Just before Durumis had made enough to survive on her own for a while, she met a wandering sailor who stopped at the town. At first, she hated this sailor, but the stranger continued to advance on her and she warmed up to them. As she got closer to the sailor, she realized they were a woman. Durumis's mind was opened to the ways a female could survive sailing. She begged the sailor girl to take her on the sailor's ship, but the sailor wanted more than just an extra crewmate. Durumis and the sailor girl fell in love, but the town soon found out, and Durumis was pronounced a sinner.
The sailor girl was banished from the town, and Durumis was bound, gagged, and tossed into the ocean. The young girl drowned, but was suddenly reborn as a goddess. She was renamed Durumis, Goddess of Sea, Silence, and Determination. Durumis became a minor god, but slowly social climbed her way to the 7th Chair of the pantheon, becoming one of the strongest gods. She mentored Rhihea, who she later fell in love with and eventually began to abuse.
One god Durumis was eyeing was Xladmir, God of Darkness. He was the second chair of the pantheon and Durumis wanted the status of being with him. Angry at the fact she chose Rhihea over a better partner for her status, she began to force Rhihea to do things for her, putting her down and calling her unworthy. Rhihea continued to be infatuated with Durumis, and Durumis had no choice but to stay with her and plan a family.
Durumis is approched by Xladmir, God of Darkness, and is asked to join his side as he takes over the pantheon. Xladmir offers Durumis more power than she had before, killing off the storm God and bestowing Durumis with their powers instead. Durumis tests these powers out by sending a multi-week long storm across the Delear Archepelago. Soon after this, Durumis noticed her lover Rhihea had disappeared. Xladmir asked Durumis to find her, but Durumis had long forgotten about how much she had loved Rhihea before, focusing all her attention to Xladmir and his plans.
Two weeks after the start of the storm, Durumis felt something tugging her from her old ruins. She decided to investigate and found her ex-lover Rhihea, along with two strange men. Rhihea claimed she was here to storm Durumis's outrage, as she was destroying the homes and lives of the Delear People. Durumis challenged the trio to a battle, and was slain by the blonde Paladin who Rhihea had called her friend.
Ex-Lover

Ally

Xladmir gave Durumis what she wanted and then used her to propel his goals. Durumis believed she was going to be one of Xladmir's highest gods before she died.
