Akifumi is an extroverted young man who has a bright smile. He's the type of person who's determined to finish his priorities so that he'd have more free time. Akifumi doesn't usually approach people and usually only talks to others if they talk to him first. Even though Akifumi keeps to himself, he's very popular in his faculty since he also does modeling for his acquaintances.
Whenever a loved one gets hurt, Akifumi becomes extremely scary, as if he's a gangster. He's not violent at all, but his threats alone are scary enough to freak others out. He's very protective of those he loves.
Akifumi was a social butterfly in high school and just like college, he was extremely popular. He was not only sporty, but a kind-hearted soul. However, there were cases where others' infatuation would affect Akifumi badly to the point where he wanted to be invisible. There was a situation where Akifumi was given handmade chocolate on valentines day by other students, and when Akifumi took a bite out of one of them, he later puked and felt sick. Akifumi didn't know what was in the chocolate, but he couldn't trust others' gifts anymore.
He became aware of how there are people who are seeking to hurt him, so Akifumi closed himself off from others. While he was still friendly with everyone, he refused to hang out with anyone and was extremely paranoid on who was out to get him. After graduating, Akifumi calmed down and told himself that college will be different. While Akifumi is still careful in college, he was his usual cheerful self. However, the fear of being hurt is still there lingering inside him. He could only trust his boyfriends not to hurt him.
As college began, Akifumi approached Hiroshi so that he could have some friends to rely on. They immediately hit it off with each other and soon the two became close. Even though Akifumi tries to be extremely careful with who he trusts, he felt like Hiroshi would never hurt him on purpose. Every time Akifumi opened up to Hiroshi, Hiroshi would always comfort him by brushing his hair, holding his hand, and many affectionate actions. This made Akifumi fall for Hiroshi and Akifumi always wondered if Hiroshi felt the same. Even though Akifumi has dated before, he wasn't 100% sure if Hiroshi likes him back since Akifumi always has his guard up interacting with others. Eventually, Hiroshi confessed to Akifumi and Akifumi immediately accepted. Later on, the two of them also fell for Kichiro and made sure to communicate with each other regarding their feelings for Kichiro.
Akifumi took an interest in Kichiro when he accidentally ran into him outside the dorms. Akifumi befriended him since he's never seen him before, and they both happened to be dorm neighbors. He later found out that Kichiro and Hiroshi have talked to each other already, which piqued Akifumi's interest. As he hung out with Kichiro more, Akifumi felt like he might like Kichiro more than as a friend. This concerned Akifumi and when he talked to Hiroshi about it, Hiroshi reassured him and admitted that he also took interest in Kichiro. This comforted Akifumi and eventually the three of them got together. Akifumi loves to spoil Kichiro since Kichiro is physically affectionate towards him. Every time Kichiro wants something, Akifumi could barely say no with how adorable Kichiro's puppy eyes are. The two of them are also interested in music and turns out Akifumi actually watches Kiro's content. Kichiro was embarrassed at first, but since it's Akifumi, he didn't mind much.
