Trove was once a young excitable   treasure hunter, he wanted so bad to prove himself and be the best. Trove had big dreams and a bright future. He wasnt careful at all and in his recklessness he stole from the wrong treasure cave. He was cursed to turn into sandstone forever if he did not return the necklace within a year. He refused because he wanted to keep the enchanted shell to give to a shecat. Trove slowly began following apart. The lady he loved didn't want him anymore, he still refused to live up the necklace and kept turning more into sand and stone. Trove spent the time he had left to break the curse, but he  did not restore his body. He is forever hexed yet now immortal and stuck in-between.
