Azar is a well respected conturation wizard, in the world of Almanthia. He is well known for whenever he summons a creature, asking said creature if they are willing to assist him, as well as being part of the adventuring group that stopped Giant-kind from attempting to take over the small-folk.

Azar was born to a single human mother in the deserts of the Dawn Wastes. Due to him being a fire genasi, not many kids played with him, so instead he created his own friends. He quickly learned of his magical potential, and his mother saved up for him to go to the wizarding school in Dawnrise. He ended up being quite proficient in the school of conjuration, and a catchphrase of his soon became "Are you a willing creature?" before casting any of his spells on anyone else.

He became the apprentice of a well-known wizard, but he very quickly out grew the need of a master, and they assigned him to a group of adventurers dealing with the giant threat. He was integral to helping solve that threat, and soon became a well known wizard in his own right.

He now goes around the world, visiting the conjuration schools, and discovering his own different kinds of summoning spells, all requiring consent from the summon creature to assist.




Likes


Fire

His prefered magic type, as he has some innate control of it, due to his origins. And he also loves watching the shapes a flame can create.

He is a wizard, so he loves magic. He loves the possibilities that magic can create.

Helping People

He wants to see a smile on everyone's face, and if he can do this by helping people, he will.

Teaching New Wizards About Magic

He has 'retired' from adventuring, so now he travels around to the different wizard school to teach his kind of conjuration magic.

He knows his fire genasi origin comes from being half-efreeti. He doesn't like how that came to be.

A wizard classing for a reason, and Azar's go-to AOE spell.

Teleportation Mastery

Azar is never still on the battlefield, using his magic to teleport him around to different areas, keeping himself safe as well as pulling his friends out of dangerous places.

Conjure Elemental

If needed, he will summon an elemental, though once he has done so, he always asks the elemental if they are willing to help him. If not, he returns them back to their plane.

Azar is incredibly clever, able to figure out and solve most problems thrown at him.

Azar seems to have abnormally good luck, able to turn a bad situation, into a favorable one.

Azar may be intelligent, but he won't think twice if the solution involves putting himself in danger.

Reliance on Magic

Like most wizards, Azar is heavily reliant on his magic. If he has used up most of the spells for the day, he's at a significant disadvantage.

Frailty

He is certianly sturdy for a wizard, but that's compared to other wizards. He's still much frailer than most other combatants.

While his mind is not weak, he finds himself rather susceptible to spells of the mind.
