Cause of Death: Murdered by Runningbloom in retaliation for Wavestar murdering her kit. Much to everyone’s horror, when Bristletail received a prophecy about a kit foretold to bring about a battle so great the black sands would run red with blood, he immediately stalked out of the medicine cat’s den and made a beeline for the nursery. Intent on wiping out all the kits in the clan in order to prevent the prophecy, he struck Willowkit across the face to knock her away from Runningbloom before dealing the killing blow, only for the queen to lunge forward with a scream and tear his throat out. Runningbloom got away with it due to the fact that the majority of OceanClan believed he'd gone too far, prophecy or not.
