Sahd'yla'sala, more commonly known as Dylas, was a female Chiss independent agent who later went on to serve as one of the central members of the Eternal Alliance. Originally born to Chiss Imperial Loyalists on Hoth, she befriended the young Twi'lek Slaves Jallen'ra and Astrila at a young age, and maintained this friendship up until their separation, reuniting some years later. Originally sent to follow the path her parents had laid out for her, Dylas found herself unimpressed and disgusted by the Imperial ideals, and eventually sought a stronger set of morals by joining the Republic's SIS. However, she continued to find herself disappointed in the actions of both the Empire and the Republic as corruption seeped into both, and Dylas eventually made her departure into independent space to find a calling for herself outside of war. She sought to take care of herself while aiding those affected by a war they never wanted. In time Dylas was recalled to the Empire by none other than Astrila, now Darth Occulous, and assisted in locating the Twi'lek's sister.
Dylas remained a loyal friend to Astrila while electing to travel with Jalle'ra die to similar interests and motivations, but returned to the Sith's side following the beginning of the Revanite crisis, where she worked along with Astrila, Theron Shan, a former associate of hers, and Sith Lord Lana Beniko in order to stop the Revanites. Following the return of the Sith Emperor, Dylas officially rejoined the front lines in Astrila's name in order to help cease the damage caused by the Emperor while the Rest of the empire and Republic fought their war. Following Astrila's disappearance, she maintained contact with her associates in her place along with Lana and Theron, and eventually assisted in the rescue of Astrila, the founding of the Eternal Alliance and the defeat of the Eternal Empire, swearing to stay by the Alliance's side no matter what, rising to become one of the most prominent figures of her age.
Design
- Dylas is a fairly tall and slim young woman with very vibrant skin. Like the rest of her species, Dylas' eyes are a fairly unnerving shade of red throughout. Her hair is kept tied up loosely, and she allows a good part of her hair to hang in her face. Dylas does her best to keep a very relaxed style about her. She doesn't like feeling restricted, so often chooses functionality above any style. She still knows how to pick out a decent outfit, however

Despite having been raised by imperial loyalists, Dylas has always had a very open and accepting mindset. She is extremely careful to always treat others the way she would wish to be treated back, but can become aggressive when faced with prejudice and other unprovoked negative interactions. this is especially true in the case of xenophobia, which, despite being so near human, Dylas isn't exactly a stranger to. She detests those who put out the weaker, believing people like herself exist in order to give them safety, rather than fear. Despite this, she always tries to keep a positive mindset. It is because of this mindset that Dylas became a rebel at heart, and has little regard for what others "expect of her", unless they hold her undying respect. She has little use for laws and restrictions, as she believes they often hurt more than help. She follows her own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society.
Dylas is also extremely clever, and has an extremely high intelligence, well above average for her species. Because of this, combined with being as clever as she is, can make her extremely unpredictable, calculating, and manipulative when she wants to be, especially if she wants something. She also isn't afraid to put out those who she deems unworthy of her compassion, and is even willing to cut down those who stand in her way if she believes it will benefit her greater good. One thing she does not believe in is justice, believing it to be an "moral idea" used for an excuse to exact revenge. Thus belief led her to have a problem with the law and military, believe they all only sought selfish game and worked to nothing but glorified crimes against the innocent of the galaxy. Despite her sometimes radical tendencies and rebellious attitude, Dylas is seeking to bring the galaxy into a better place, and didn't hesitate to take up any role given to her, no matter how big or small, if she believes it would help.
Part of Dylas' compassion stems from the fact that she never truely felt any love from anyone, often being used as more of a tool and an asset, even by her parents. She often feels forgotten and insignificant, but fights for what she believes in regardless. Still, Dylas often ponders her place amoung others, fearing that she may lose those she has grown close to, after having watched everyone she ever loved herself walk out of her life. She often questions if she does in fact matter to people.

Strength:
With intelligence reaching levels far beyond many other sentiet being, Dylas is sharp as a whip and knows how to use her brains to get what she needs. Scuh an existence leaves her extremely witty, and combines well with her ability to think quickly on her feet. She often uses her intelligence and wit to her advatage, combring this with her chamr to manipulate and scheme into getting what she needs. She is dangerous to toy with and generally comes out with the upper hand in both strategy, battle, and a war of words.

Having served in both the Republic and the Empire, as well as with several independent fauctions in neutral sectors, Dylas has developed a very unique fighting style through the combination and exposure of tequniques taught to her at varying points.

With her large brain comes a sharp and charming tongue, as Dylas is well known for her wordplay and ability to charm everyone from her best friend to her worst enemy. Be it brutal or warm, there is no limit to Dylas' charm abilities, thoguh she has been known to be rather blunt when pushed too far, and unafraid to speak her mind when it comes down to it.
Story
History
Born on the icy planet of Hoth to a well to do Chiss Ambassador, Dylas' life was nothing short of a boring ride in her eyes. While she loved her planet and her family very much, she felt that there was nothing there for her. Even as a child, it was clear that Dylas's intelligence far surpassed that of many of her elders, but she didn't always put this skill to the best of work. She was nothing like what was expected of a noble mans daughter, being too adventurous and troublesome for her own good. However, her family did not shun her behavior, but rather embraced it, encouraging her to use her ambition, adventurous attitude, and enhanced intelligence to help better their Empire by joining the Military. It was then, at the young age of 14, that Dylas entered into the service of the Imperials, but not to the Military.
Word having spread about her enhanced capabilities, Dylas was instead taken to be trained by Imperial Intelligence, where she would prove to be on of their most skilled agents. However, this still wasn't what Dylas had in mind when she had thought about being more open to the galaxy, but went along with it anyway, happy and willing to help protect the Empire. That was, at least, until she set foot on Taris. Dylas was already uncomfortable with the brutal and racist ways of the empire, but it was Taris that was the turning point for her. she had heard stories of the planet from long ago, it had been the Coruscant of the outer rim, a planet decimated by the Empire. But seeing it in person opened her eyes to it's terror. A once marvelous city planet turned into a wasteland of ruin and hardship, a planet stuck in a seemingly never ending war. All this for one person? Dylas had finally come to realize exactly who she was working for, and elected to leave the service of the Imperial Military and it's Intelligence agency.
Dylas, lost, alone, and unsure of what to do with herself at this point, decided it best to head for the core worlds, ending up Coruscant without a credit in her pocket. Scared for herself and her compulsive decision, Dylas was near sure she was going to die. But she didn't, she wouldn't. Dylas wanted to fight more than anything, to protect the galaxy from the worst of the worst, so she fought on her own. Lying, scamming and cheating with worst of the worst, Dylas soon made a name for herself as one of the most slippery and dangerous locals on Coruscant, trying her hardest to protect the ones who couldn't protect themselves. This didn't go unnoticed. Her desire for peace and justice, as well as her uncanny abilities and former ties to the Empire brought an interesting offer: Join the SIS. Dylas was hesitant to take this offer, but figured it was better than risking starving in any of the violent sectors of Coruscant. She soon proved to be a valuable member of the Republic forces, but for how long? She had believed for so long the Rpublic was in the right, but her hopes for it were soon dashed after she discovered just how ruthless the Republic was. Maybe they thought they were doing the right, but they still hid behind peace, something they were only helping to disrupt. At least the Empire was straight forward about what they were doing. No longer able to stand the constant fighting, Dylas once again fled, seemingly disappearing from the galaxy.
Dylas elected to make herself vanish as best she could, taking refuge in neutral territories like Hutt space. She spent her time working odd jobs until a myserious offer came in for her one day. It was of Imperial nature, making Dylas very hesitant to even ponder accepting any offers. This was, at least, until she saw who the offer was from. Astrila, a Sith Lord and former Slave to Dylas' family. Despite her enslavement, Astrila had always looked upon Dylas kindly, as Dylas had never been anything but kind to her. This, combined with Dylas' skills, had drawn Astrila to the young woman, going to great lengths to track her down, to seek a favor: Astrila wanted help finding her sister, Jallen'ra. Another former slave to Dylas' family, she had not seen her in years, as she was sold off not long after Astrila was sent to train as a Sith. Dylas had nothing but fond memories of both the Twi'leks, and was more than willing to help the Sith Lord Locate her sister. Using the skills she had acquired working for both the Republic and the Empire, dylas was able to easily track Jallen'ra to the peaceful world of Manaan. It didn't take long for the two to recognize one another. However, Jallen'ra had begun working as a privateer for the Republic, putting her at what she would assume to be odds with her sister. Despite this, Dylas arranged a meeting between the two. There was no animosity to be had, only relief. Realize just what it meant to have one another back, the three made promises to one another: they would work towards whatever peace they could, refusing to let war separate them once again.

Revanite Crisis
Tython and Korriban Attacks
As per had become usual, Dylas was with Astrila during the inital call to arms initiated by Lana and Darth Arkous. She remained behind the assault on Tython initiated by the three Sith, somewhat put off by the situation, especially after hearing Arkous seemed to be searching for something. Her discomfort proved to be warranted, as not long after the initial assault, Korriban was also attacked with rather convenient timing. With little time to spare, Dylas elected to accompany Astrila to defend Korriban. Upon reclaiming the planet, Dylas' suspicions were only furthered as she noted the timing of the attacks, and pondered the true points of them. Still, as this semed to be Sith business, Dylas noted there was little she could do.
Manaan
Things soon seemed to be changing, however, as soon both Dylas and Astrila were once again contacted by Lana Beniko once more, Dylas being more than a bit confused by the request of her involvement. Still, she obliged, curious as to what exactly was going on. Upon arriving on Manaan, Dylas and Astrila were informed by Lana that she and a Republic SIS agent had discovered that their respective superiors, Darth Arkous and Colonel Rian Darok of the Republic Army, had arranged for their attacks on Tython and Korriban to occur at almost the same time, and to send forces to respond to them as normal. It soon became clear that both men were searching for ancient Rakata artifacts held on those two worlds.The Sith Lord and the Republic spy entered into an alliance of necessity in order to track Arkous and Darok's movements, following them to a secret laboratory underwater. Arkous and Darok had contracted a Selkath geneticist named Gormia to work for them; Dylas and Astrila dispatched to the laboratory in order to find out exactly what Gorima was working on while Lana made contact with her SIS associate.
It was in this facility that Dylas and Astrila also made contact with Jakarro, a wookie smuggler with the head of protocol droid C2-D4 strapped to his chest. Jakarro had been imprisoned by Arkous and Darok after delivering a crate of medical supplies, and intended to turn him over to Gorima for experimentation. Seeking revenge against his captors, Jakarro offered to help the strike team, and they released him from his holding cell. It was also here that the team encountered a Jedi sent by this same SIS agent Lana had planned to meet with. Deciding to work together to figure out exactly what was happening, the team continued on deeper into the labs. After battling their way through the Order of Shasa, Force sensitive Selkath who were neither Sith nor Jedi, the team finally entered Gorima's lab. Realizing that they had not been sent by either of his employers, Gorima revealed that he had been tasked with reverse-engineering Rakata technology for implantation into living creatures, to serve as part of an "Infinate Army". The strike team were then confronted by Arkous and Darok, who thanked Gorima for his work and left in a submersible, launching a depth charge to cause the facility to collapse, where it would be destroyed by the crushing pressures of Manaan's depths. The team barely managed to escape, thanks to the intervention of SIS Agent Theron Shan. It was then that the secret alliance between Shan and Beniko was revealed to the strike team, who escaped to the surface just as the facility was torn apart by the immense pressure of the deep oceans.
Upon reaching the surface, Dylas had come the realization of just who she was working with. She and Shan had worked together once or twice before during her time in the SIS, though rather unwillingly at times. Still, they had managed to get along well enough, even bordering on romantic before Dylas had once again fled. thankfully, the air seemed to be clear, and Theron acknowledged Dylas and Astrila kindly enough. The Jedi was also eager to have more friend on bored, aware that they were likely going to need all the help they could get. Jakarro seemed more than ready to get his revenge.
