Seth Bianchi

Seth Marcellus Bianchi was born on June 20th, 2004 to the Sea Witch Ursula and Charles Bianchi in Atlantica. The product of a one-night stand, he was swapped out with Charles’ true child with his then-wife, Ingrid Bianchi née Sands and taken home as the couple’s true-born child. A year later, a crib magically appeared in his room with a babe inside; this prompted Seth to say his first word — “crib” — as he attempted to beat the child with his bottle. Despite the mysterious circumstances surrounding the child’s arrival, she was nonetheless accepted by the Bianchi family and named Solange. Charles nor his mother, Isolde Rolle-Bianchi, never once questioned the paternity, as he was a known philander. And while Ingrid was upset, she nonetheless accepted the child as her own as she had long wanted a daughter.

Unfortunately, Solange’s presence would prove too much for Ingrid to bear and when the children were three and two respectively, they split. The children remained with Charles and his mother, however, only spending weekends with their mother. Charles continued his philandering ways, however, which resulted in the birth of other child, namely Marcus and John Bianchi; the former is a few months younger than Seth, while John is younger than Solange by two years. Seth knows of Marcus’ existence because they went to school together, and of John because he was at their father’s memorial.

When Seth was five and Solange was four, their father died. The true circumstances surrounding his death were murky at best, with Isolde learning that he was shot and died shortly thereafter. Seth overheard her telling this to his aunt, but his grandmother made him promise not to tell Solange, a promise he upholds until today. A speedy memorial was held for the man, at which Seth and Solange first met their younger brother John. Custody of the siblings was given to Isolde, as Ingrid had no interest in raising her children. Though he loved his grandmother dearly, Seth holds resentment toward his mother for this.

Following his father's death, Seth's life was rather uneventful. He started school at the prestigious Queen's College, with Solange joining him soon thereafter. By the time he entered second grade, the Bianchi stood out not only for his intellectual prowess, but his skill in swimming. He was put in a swimming club and excelled in the environment, earning him a number of trophies and ribbons. This was his first encounter with the glory of being recognized something, and it was a feeling Seth quickly became used to. An acolyte, athlete and principal's list student, he was viewed by the parents of his peers and older adults in his life as a star-boy and ideal child. They could not have been further from accurate.

During the summer between fifth and sixth grade, Seth had his first encounter with blackmail. Having learnt that his fellow acolytes were drinking the communal wine after church, he threatened to tell on them unless they promised to answer to his beck and call. They complied, and became the boy's first 'victims'. And two of his closest friends - James and Jeremiah, the latter of whom he was romantically involved with on and off. Seth's initial tastDuring the summer between fifth and sixth grade, Seth had his first experience blackmailing anyone. Having witnessed his fellow acolytes drinking the communal wine after church, he threatened to tell on them unless they answered his every beck and call. Fearing the influence he had over the elders of the church and community in general, they complied, becoming two of his first victims. After Solange, that was, who Seth was prone to manipulating to ensure that she did what he wanted, and did not tattle on him to their grandmother; it is a habit that persist until today. Eventually, Seth friended the two boys - Jeremiah and James, the latter of whom he was romantically involved with for the rest of his time in the Bahamas. This was something else that the son of Ursula hanged over the boy’s head often, as he knew that his parents would disown him; Isolde, on the other hand, could not be swayed in her opinion of her grandson, so speaking ill against him was useless as it was dangerous.

By the time the Bahamas had gone under its first lockdown in mid-March of 2020, Seth had already established himself as a force to be reckoned with amongst his school community. There was little he did not know, and even less he refused to take as bribes for his silence. He seldom remained silent, however, as there was always some fine print to his deals that tripped his customers up. As the pandemic began to rage on, Seth was finding it harder to carry on with business as usual, and thus took to opening a hair braiding business out of his grandmother’s house. Along with braiding hair, however, Seth extracted secrets from his customers, selling his silence back to them at a price .. or to others for the same. For his skill with braiding he was highly patronized, but his cunning made him revered all the same.

On the fifth of May, 2021, Seth was preparing to go onto the beach with his sister, Solange, when they were both teleported to Grimm Academy. It did not take the unclaimed luminary long to acclimatize himself to his surroundings, and soon enough, was back to business - manipulating - as usual. One of his first and, as far as he is concerned, most notable victims was Natalia Reyes, who he was and still is convinced is a prostitute. And for good reason! Who gives it up on the first meeting?

Soon enough, Seth was sorted into House Dougal, patroned by Maleficent and noted for their housing of the spawn of villains. Thus, it was little surprise when on June third, Seth was claimed by one of the most notorious - Ursula, the Sea Witch and Epic of Witchcraft, Deals, Electric Eels and Flamboyance. He met his mother in her lair in Atlantica, and had a disturbing realization that his father was not dead, but had simply left him and Solange, who herself been claimed by Ariel months later. Unfortunately, the Bianchi siblings had come to the academy during the war’s height and were there for three of the attacks on the academy. During the third, Seth fled to Atlantica where he waited out the war’s conclusion in the (relative) safety of his mother’s palace.

When the war ended, Seth returned to the academy and was eventually elected to be the Head of House Dougal and the academy’s event coordinator. Those two titles were not enough for Seth, however, who wanted more than anything else to be heir of the Ariel Cottage, simply to access the heir sector of the library and have more power over Aria, a daughter of King Triton he met fairly early on at the academy. For a time he succeeded, but Piper (the former heiress) had the title taken away from him. He has since developed a hatred for the daughter of Ariel and Prince Eric, and silently resolved to keep her away from his sister.

Regardless, Seth has been doing his job with the utmost care, as parties had always been his forte. Much to his dismay, however, there have not been as many parties as he would have liked, due greatly in part to the conflict that stirred in Wonderland. Fortunately, the son of Ursula was able to find a way into the chaos happening there, earning himself the favor of the Queen of Hearts in the process, but the disdain of some of his fellow students; not that he cares, though. He is far more focused on cultivating his relationship with the aforementioned Epic, as well as Aria, who is infatuated with him, and Hazel, who infatuates him.

On March 21st, 2022, Seth was summoned to Wonderland by the Queen of Hearts. The son of Ursula was offered the position of her champion, and was fated to become her spymaster. Founder of the fifth royal house of Crims House Bianchi, Seth currently resides in Wonderland at the Crimson Castle.
