Captain Olvin

Captain Olvin was your typical pirate searching the seven seas, he had a love for the water and hate for the land. He was always looking for his next paycheck, usually found on an enemy ship, or occasionally deep in the rainforest where the treasure maps lead him. One day, while following the footsteps of a treasure map, he came across the home of a witch, whom he ended up striking up a deal with. He would give up all of his treasures for immortality. Being as greedy as he was, he accepted, giving the woman all of his wealth. 

Due to his ship being hundreds of years old, and still sailing to this day, a lot of people assume it was a ghost ship, as he was supposed to be dead. Although the ship sails, only Olvin's crew remains on the decks, still trying to find him, as the legend always says that he never died, he's just lost at sea. His crew has changed many over the years as he was gone, but they all continued to sail in hopes of finding the legendary captian and bringing him back to his infamous legacy. 

After being bucked off his ship during a terrible storm, Olvin was keeping himself afloat holding onto a gunpowder barrel that fell off his ship. He survived off of the fish he managed to catch, until one day the sun was too hot, and the water too cold, and he ended up passing out. He found himself awoken on what he thought was dry land, but it was too dark. He then realized he was in a cave. But not just any cave; an underwater cavern with beautiful glowing crystals. He was a few hundred miles under the sea, and he had no idea how he got there. 

He realized he had been saved by what he thought was a mermaid, but actually turned out to be a nasty sea creature. It took him a very long time to trust this sea creature, but it brought him food and freshwater. Too bad he wasn't yet to realize they were keeping him down here against his will. It was just the beginning to what was already starting to be a really long journey....
