 personality:- very laid back and relaxed like 24/7, like he's super chill
- outwardly somewhat detached and disinterested but again that's just because he's so laid back - very caring and likes to make sure others have somewhere to sleep and food to eat - casually affectionate towards everyone. Calls most people 'babe' or 'sweetie' unless it makes them uncomfortable - sometimes can be an asshole but its mostly just to Cas because they're too fun to tease and are super cute when upset to him. - likes to tease people in general but iS A LOT KINDER TO EVERYONE ELSE WITH IT - always willing to help out and is probs the guy you'd find petting stray cats on the street |

Other Info:
- He has a habit of picking up cute things and people off the street who need homes, hence why he's now the host to both Yoana and Caspian.
- He probably tried to take in stray dogs too many times and now the apartment owners are done with his shit and have a close eye on him.
- Cody doesn't really need much in life other than food and a place to live with some good company. He likes to live simply so since he makes a good amount of money from his photography he prefers using it to spoil others instead.
- Your local Single Dad Friend™ because he's not QUITE caring enough and responsible to me a mom friend but also still motherly enough that he can't be just a regular dad friend. He honestly acts like a single dad tbh like Yoana especially might as well be his daugher.
- He picks on Cas a lot by doing things like ignoring him on purpose or snyping embarrassing photos of them without their consent because he thinks Cas is cute when angry or flustered. However he does have some guilt though doing this and when he takes things a little too far and actually really upsets Cas he does feel really bad about it. Unfortunately not enough to freaking stop though.
- He has a bad habit of smoking. Often enough for it to be an issue but not often enough for it to be a REALLY big issue. He somehow manages to be able to put it down and pick it up as he pleases without suffering too much from withdrawal if he ends up not smoking for a while.

A couple years back before he had ever met Yoana, Cody had a girlfriend who was the absolute love of his love. She treasured her and while he still wanted to give them some more time to develope their relationship, did plan on proposing to her at some point. However it was likely for the best that he didn't for some ways into their relationship he ended up accidentally getting her pregnant. Realistically this mistake was on both of them but because of the type of girl Cody's girlfriend was she just put all the blame on him. She wasn't exactly wanting a child either at the time as you could probably guess so this also put a serious strain on their relationship. Cody did his best to apologize and make things better but she didn't want to have it and in the end left him saying she wanted nothing to do with him ever again.
That alone was more than enough to crush Cody's heart but to make things even worse it left him even more heartbroken knowing that meant he would never get to meet this child too, or know if she would even keep them or what the outcome of that would be. He had hoped one day to have a family with her once they were married but because of their mistake he didn't get to go about that as planned. All of this is another big reason he likes to take things into his home and care for them to fill that void his now ex had created. He treats Yoana and Cas especially as if they were his own kids and greatly fears the day where they decide to move out themselves or if they were to meet someone else they'd want to move in with. He mostly keeps this to himself though since he knows keeping them from that is wrong especially since they're,,, literally just two random dainties he invited to live with him and became closer to alksda.
