Intro
Finley is Lavender Valley's most dedicated barista, happy to serve both coffee and handmade baked goods to his loyal clientele. In fact, Finley's passion aside from coffee is baking; there's no shortage of delious cookies and glazed donuts at Finley's apartment, shared with his close friend Kyle.
When not working or practicing his baking skills, Finley enjoys participating in social events to make friends. He often attends small gigs hosted by Kyle and Harlow's band.
Appearance

Finley is a golden retriever; his fur is long and golden in color, and soft to the touch. Golden retrievers often have floppy ears, and Finley is no different. Finley's unkempt hair is a slightly paler shade of blonde, usually tied back into a ponytail. Finley's eyes are light blue.
Finley can often be found wearing his barista apron. When not at work, Finley prefers comfortable clothing that tends to consist of slightly oversized sweaters and loose-fitting trousers. Finley prefers neutral colors for his clothing; mostly white, brown, beige, and tan. Finley dislikes shoes, and usually keeps his paws bare even while working.

About
Finley is an upbeat and naturally charismatic person, unlike his much less socially inclined best friend Kyle. Due to Kyle's shy nature, Finley tends to take charge in conversation and speak on his friend's behalf. Finley enjoys social gatherings and making friends.
As an extroverted person, Finley is an excellent barista. He has no qualms about managing customers all day, and his coworkers are glad to let him handle clients if he offers. Finley's skill as a barista extends to baking as well, as he is in charge of restocking the cafe's donuts and baked goods each morning. Finley's cooking skills are thanks in part due to his keen sense of smell.
Although Finley is a warm and friendly individual, he can sometimes be overbearing due to his "mom friend" behavior. Taking on a surrogate older brother role for Kyle, Finley focuses a little too much on how mature and responsible he appears to others. He desires to take a leadership role when with others, even in situations he has little knowledge about. Even Kyle sometimes feels that Finley acts more like a babysitter than a friend, though he understands that Finley means well in the end.
Trivia
- The name Finley is an Irish name meaning "white warrior". Finley's surname, Glen is of Scottish origin and means "valley".
- Kyle is Finley's closest friend and room mate. Being slightly older than Kyle, Finley acts as a protective older brother to him.
- Finley grew up with his younger half-sister Rebecca. The two still chat often, but given their work and distance, don't often see eachother.
- Despite their connection to his best friend Kyle, Finley doesn't really know Harlow all that well. Finley finds Harlow to be sort of mysterious.
- Finley's favorite thing to eat is tiramisu.
- One of Zell's closest friends is Kyle. They like to flirt with eachother. This annoys Finley, Kyle's surrogate older brother, but he is close with Zell as well.
- Finley loves to swim. Kyle hates water though, so they don't go to the beach as often as Finley would like.

Breed Skills
Finley is a golden retriever, and he exhibits some of the skills that the breed is known for. In Abirelle, anthropomorphic hybrids are referred to as Kith.
As the breed name indicates, retrievers have an excellent sense of smell, much stronger than a humans'. This works in Finley's favor, since he works in a bakery and adores the scent of chocolate and vanilla. Other Kith retrievers make great detectives and hunters.
Golden retrievers have a natural love of water. Finley is not different, and he enjoys swimming immensely. Retrievers tend to be very good swimmers.
