Zell is an anthropomorphic red panda; he is characterized by his russet colored fur and fluffy, ringed tail. Zell's markings are typical for a red panda, consisting of chocolate colored stripes and cream highlights. Zell's hair is dark ginger, appearing almost brunette; he rarely combs it, leaving it an unkempt mess.

Zell's wardrobe can be considered almost feminine. He is partial to crop tops and pastel colors. Zell prefers wearing gym shorts over denim due to their felixibly. Zell wears a bell around his neck, similar to Kyle's.

Due to his disdain for shoes, Zell is typically barefoot.

About

Zell is drunk on a near constant basis, even showing up to work tipsy regularly. Most of the tavern's patrons know him by his jolly attitude and love for alcohol, as well as his skillful drink mixing. Zell's familiarity with alcohol is why he has kept his job despite his unprofessional demeanor; though it certainly helps that most customers find him charming.

Zell is very playful and likes teasing friends and even customers. He tends to be a flirt with almost anyone, regardless of whether or not he actually has romantic interest in them. Given how oblivious he is, Zell sometimes thinks his visitors are flirting back with him, even if they aren't. Zell tends to take everything as a joke, so its difficult to have serious discussions with him.

Unsurprisingly, Zell is notoriously irresponsible. His apartment is a mess and he often forgets to pay bills. Authority figures tend to be lenient with him due to his charisma, and maybe because they feel he's a little pitiful.

Trivia

• The text on Zell's shirt says, "赤ちゃん". It translates to baby.
• One of Zell's closest friends is Kyle. They like to flirt with eachother. This annoys Finley, Kyle's surrogate older brother, but he is close with Zell as well.
• One of Zell's regular customers is Lukas. Zell has gotten to know him fairly well because of tendency to overshare when drunk.
• Sometimes Zell is mistaken for a girl due to his feminine figure and clothing choices. He doesn't really care though so he doesn't always correct people when they make this mistake.
• Zell is named after the Animal Crossing character of the same name. His surname, Biermann, means "beer brewer".
• Zell is only familiar with Lynn through her partner. Specifically, because she has to practically drag him out after he gets into scraps regarding his cheating at poker. Zell doesn't mind though-- to him, its pretty amusing.
