That was an in-character response from Snacks!

Well, I read a lot of philosophy ideas and psychology concepts and such, and I thought it would be fun to anthropomorphize some of these concepts. As I started using Toyhouse and letting these ideas interact, some ideas for a universe and story began to develop, which is everything under the "Tao's World" folder.
I also wanted to let the characters for this universe 'happen' rather than create them, so many of them are adoptables, in many cases ones people wanted to get rid of.
In a way, it is a town of refugees, many of whom will struggle with abandonment issues and the like. The town is a relatively safe place, and there is a forest that does strange things to the mind nearby.

If you go find Jasper in Smalltown you can see a bit of this as I develop it. He went into this forest and is now suffering from PTSD.
I do hope to end up with some characters you can journey with and work through difficult problems in life.

I have a lot of help and guidance from my friends who are experienced in writing, as I am an artist and not a writer. My reading is mostly limited to non-fiction, so writing this is new to me. I do feel I can create some interesting adventures that can help people with the knowledge I have acquired and keep absorbing daily.

I'd not call it work, more an expression and an experience. It does consume the little free time at my disposal, but also creates a drive to learn more.

The characters learn about themselves, and I get to learn how to write, injecting my experiences into them.

Make them characters rather than pretty pictures - which is what most of my time as an artist revolved around.

As I am getting a bit older, I find I want the 1000 words that comes with the picture and the whole experience together.
