Elysia spends her day by roaming around the palace where she lives and occasionally will spend her walks with Sylvian. Whenever she's on these walks with him, she will always stop to take a nap on Sylvian under a tree while he reads his book. She loves nature, especially flowers with cherry blossoms and lilies being her favorites. As a noble, she is well-mannered and modest and is seen as a leader by the townsmen. She has a very positive relationship with the townsmen and will frequently visit town. Whenever she does, she will always stop by her favorite pastries store to eat a bunch of sweets.
In the land of Luxidiem, there are common beings that make up the vast majority of the population, having little to no magic within them. Magic in Luxidiem is a rare and sought-after commodity, helping maintain the upkeep of the magical barrier surrounding the land, warding off the wild beasts that seek entrance. Magic is also what fuels the core of the land, providing energy for transportation and light.
Differentiating them from those with weak magic are the keys they are born with. Each noble and celestial is born with a unique key that unlocks their magic. There is a keyhole that matches the key on their body where a heart would normally be, but is replaced by their magic collected into one spot. Without this key, they are unable to access their magic. If the key were to fall into somebody else’s hands, it would be disastrous for the noble or celestial.
Nobles and celestials also have wings and crowns/halos that are manifested from their magic. Their wing spans grow depending on how much magic they have. Celestials have a notably different style of wings from nobles, as they have far more magic, and have halos while nobles wear crowns.
These beings possess a third eye located on their palm, which can see the magic in other beings, and can be used to cast illusions, blessings, and curses (which cause great misfortune, or at times, death). If a noble casts a curse, they are blinded, and become one of the scorned. The celestials are able to cast curses without becoming blind, but should the other celestials feel that the power is being abused, they may choose to vote them away, leaving that celestial without magic and scorned. When they become blind, their only means of 'seeing' is through their eye on their palm.
