“The creature under the dock”
It’s dense fur, horns, beak, and iron shackles all helped to weigh this creature down so that it could walk the sea bed like a nightmarish iron diver.It is fairly old in human years and after failing to potect it's original ward it has spent ages avoiding making contact with any humanoid. In all it’s wandering it finally met a dhole under some dilapidated docks where it often dwelled.
Sigma came to the defense of Porter and fought off a liminal being, but not before Porter received a couple of gashes (later his nose and leg scars) - the incident revived Sigma's sense of purpose and feels called to help protect and guide this new friend. To his dismay Sigma began appearing on Porter’s walks, at his place of work, and his house.
They are a being of few (telepathic) words. Due to him being part spirit he is usually able to phase in and out of the living realm to avoid being seen.

BACKSTORY
Unholy spirits can be of the angelic or the corrupted variety, one possibly becoming the other.
Before it’s fall this spirit accompanied a young child, guiding them to do good as spirits are intended to do. Corruption usually occurs in spirits that are tempted by their human’s own evil ways, but this spirit's human is not what corrupted him. One night a cruel and belligerent man drowned the spirit’s child before they realized what had happened. When the spirit witnessed the aftermath, the spirit no longer felt holy. The spirit saw blood red... Vengeance corrupted this spirit’s form. They have never felt such anger since and have remained peaceful, but the physical evidence of corruption will forever remain. More than anything the child they were supposed to nurture and failed to save haunts them.
