Yasumi Amamiya

Yasumi is a very kind and thoughtful yume. This warmhearted yume will often stop and put her own needs aside to help somebody else out if it's urgent enough. There are many who used to take advantage of Yasumi because of this, but she has since learned to stand up for herself and establish boundaries.

Some yumes will still try to treat Yasumi like a pushover, but her softness will quickly be forgetten when she decides to get sharp-tongued with whoever dares try to push her around. Yasumi is proud of her growth, and doesn't intend to let anybody ruin that for her.

Her own growth is reflected in some of the dreams that she makes. Yasumi makes dreams of emotional growth, so much like herself humans will find themselves growing beyond what they thought they could do emotionally. Yasumi has lighter dreams too, dreams where humans find themselves in a paradise of cherry blossoms in some way.

Yasumi really enjoys cherry blossom trees, and even has a garden of them attached to her home in the cove. She uses magic to keep them beautiful and pink all year round. Yasumi will often have tea in this little grove of trees. Sometimes by herself, and sometimes she'll have company.

A bit less shared in the cove, but almost a myth among humans now, is Yasumi's shrine dances. Friends of Yasumi know about her habit of going to the human world and doing shrine maiden dances at empty shrines. Though over time humans have seen this mysterious yet graceful figure at many shrines, thus giving Yasumi a status as an urban legend among humans.
