-Jovial: Ashley is an optimist, she always looks at the bright side of things and hopes for the best. She is almost constantly seen smiling and/or laughing at whatever comes her way and it's very rare to see her sad about something.

-Friendly: Ashley LOVES making friends. She loves being surrounded by other people and just interacting with them. She’s thoughtful and kind to anyone she considers a friend, which in most cases is almost everyone.

-Affectionate: Ashley warms up really easily to people. Even if she’s only met you a few times she will greet you with hugs and kisses

Ashley Marie Paige was born in Lilycove city to Sebastian Paige and Camille Paige. The two of them were the classic rivals turned lovers story. After many face-offs and collaborations in both Pokemon battling and Pokemon Coordinating, the two of them fell in love and decided to have a family together. They both had big plans for their futures together but it was tragically cut short when Camille died while giving birth to Ashley. Sebastian was heartbroken, mourning for his late wife. Though he had promised to keep and raise their child, staying in a city where he and his wife shared so many memories together was painful for him. Unable to go around Lilycove without being reminded of her, he packed up his bags and moved back to his hometown of Dewford Town.

Ashley lived a fairly normal life in little Dewford. She was raised by both her father and grandmother who did their best to give her a happy and fulfilling life. By some fate, she ended up loving Pokemon Contests as much as her parents did, often staying up and rambling about all the cool contest moves and performances she saw on the TV. She didn’t know that her parents were actual coordinators until she was 10 years old. While watching some reruns of old contest circuits, she stumbled on a video where a woman who looked like an older version of her was facing someone who looked like a younger version of her dad. She was shocked hearing her father’s name and seeing his Pokemon on stage doing things she’d never seen them do before. Immediately after the contest ended, she cornered her dad and asked him what she saw on the air. Realizing he couldn’t lie to her, he told her all about his trainer and coordinator days - about all the performances he had and everything regarding her mother. She was stunned, not expecting that her dad kept such a big part of his life a secret from her. She asked if he’ll ever go back to coordinating but he said he wasn’t sure. She asked him if at the very least he’d support and teach her a bit about coordinating and he agreed to show her the ropes. Whenever the two were available, he would teach her tips and tricks he learned himself like stunning combination moves and how to properly care and raise Pokemon so they’d look their very best.
