"May I have the strenght to continue"
Siival was adopted at a young age by Pavella, who he on forth considered his mother. Originally he wasn't really meant to become the new heir of Zharv, as he had no real connection to Qynos, aside him being his mother's husband. Theygot along fine, but Qynos and him didn't really have that strong of a bong. Perhaps it was more complarable to a loose family member, rather thna a parent. Siival honestly didn't mind, Qynos though polite and alright wasn't exactly his type of company. he much prefered the softer and warmer presence of his mother, whereas Qynos could feel a bit harsh and rough.
From a young age, he knew that Pavella's time was limited, but she did a wonderful job of preparing him and taking care and bonding with him while she was there. Before Pavella's passing, Qynos pulled them both aside, explaining that he was planning to make Siival the first in line to be his next heir. It was something that came as a surprise for Siival completely, though it seemed like Qynos had brought it up to Pavella before. In said discussion they had a long and thorough talk about Siivals plans for the future, one he would have without Pavella. Pavella and Qynos both talked of the environment of the race for the throne, what it all meant and what challenges would lie ahead. Qynos was quite okay if Siival did not want the throne, he just seemed to think Siival would do the best with the position, but understood it was a rough path. He didn't believe Siival would be ready for it for a long time, but that if he wanted it, they needed to figure that out now so that Qynos could train him. Pavella was concerned and very vocal about Siival's own personal wants and desires. The decision was hard for Siival, unsure of what to do with it. It would be a challenge, but here he was offered a chance to make the future of Zharv better, to help continue to impliment the ideashis mothers had fought for, to fix the inequalities he saw. But was he strong enough? Both of them seemed to think so, but very much also left room for him to back out - in fact Qynos seemed almost indifferent about it, insisting he and Pavella jsut settled on something that made him happy. In the end, Siival took on the responsibility, deciding that perhaps this would be all of his life and take up all of him, but that it was a worthy and important cause to him.
Training began soon after and Siival did his best, balancing his duties as well as spending time with Pavella, who's health declined. A ray of warmth - she shone on him to the veyr end, coloring his grief with several shades of content and happiness that he needed. It actually helped a lot to be with Qynos, a man who related and understood, but who didn't stay in the past. Together they celebrated her memory, bonded over their training and their love for her.
Everything was going quite well. Siival was fully trained and put in charge of taking over the kingdom slowly. Nothing seemed to be an issue, that was until Qynos seemed to catch affection for Bastio. At the start, Siival was really pleased to see Qynos finding someone he bonded so well with, someone who seemed like such a positive influence. It went so well until-- it didn't. In a blink of an eye, Bastio was gone and Qynos seemed to unravel in odd ways. When they spend time together, he was still the man Siival knew and appreciated, but somethign changed. What had been a quirky hobby like hunting, took up more an dmore of Qynos' mind. Siival couldn't quite grasp it, tried to bring it up, but Qynos didn't seem to have an issue with it. How do you fix someone who didn't want to be fixed? Was it an issue? Qynos was a man who worked behind curtains, his self always sort of distanced from Siival. Siival did the best he could to take over, to let Qynos to his own things and make sure that the Nation of Zharv was taken for in return.
THough manageable, Siival has grown exhausted from the toxic envronment and the hard work. he cares a lot and he tries his best, often being a bit too hard on himself when he cna't meet his expectations. Being a ruler is really hard.

Personality
Siival is a gentle giant. He is soft-spoken, agreeable and not interested in causing trouble. In fact he spends most of his time trying to solve issues he runs into, be that his own or others. He's soft-spoken, polite and gives off a soft warmth when he is in a good mood. THat said, he has also grown less optimistic over the years, he's been jaded, not really from Qynos's training, but because it turned out to be needed. It was one thing when Qynos taught him to sleep with a knife and wake up by the smallest sounds. Another when he discovered that people he trusted would try to literally stab hi in his sleep for his position to the throne.
Siival gives people the benefit of the doubt. His kind, soft personality sometimes makes people thing that they can take advantage of him, but anyone who tries to fight him will find that he is quite the challenge. A lot of people also find Siival to be intimidating due to his large size and very serious attitude.

Significant Relationships
There's a lot to their relationship, a lot of layers and emotions. None of them are super severely intense, but there's a good ammount of trust, care and respect that is shared between the two of them. Qynos does sort of play a father role of Siival, but perhaps not the same as how many others might have it. They actually grew closer after Pavella's passing, though Siival did think Qynos waws nicer and probably happier when Pavella was alive. Qynos doesn't really show his emotions all that well to people who he doesn't care for. He holds his cards close and though Siival once thought it was uncomfortable, he has learnt to appreciate it as time has gone on. Once he understood the environment of the Zharvian court and nobility, he understood why Qynos was the way he was. Why he acted and trained Siivla the way he did. Siival had just been lucky to be shielded by him and Pavella so he could grow up well.
Siival really respects Qynos, even when he can tell his fraying rapidly. He does his best, standing at his designated spot at the sidelines, knoqing Qynos doens't want him to be more involved. In stead he's trying to savor and appreciate the last of their time together, just like he did with Pavella.
Benaiar was the doctor to Pavella and now is also to Siival and Qynos. He really enjoys his company and appreciates him. He's a bit like an uncle to Siival.
Siival had survived many struggles on his own, but on one night of desperation and drowningin work, he found himself wishing to some higher power, to whatever made the world move along that there would be a way to figure this out. Siival asked the universe for help. And-- suddenly Sylvie appeared in his life, excited and ready to help him with the dryest and hardest to understand paperwork. Who- Who is this individual? He calls himself an angel and by all means it sounds possible, Siival just isn't super sure what to do with that information. He does however appreciate Sylvie scheduling appointments with him where he comes and helps him- Wait why is this happening again?
It's a lot, but Siival jsut focuses on the fact that is getting help. Sylvie is a strange, wise guy with a kind heart. A part of him just knows Sylvie says the truth when he says he's an angel. He has to be, so blessed and kind. In a way, it reminds him of Pavella. It's such a breath of fresh air.
