Profile
Freya is a clever Snowy Owl; she was born in Silverveil, but as of Chapter 1 in Serpents, she lives in the Northern Kingdoms.
Freya tries to remain aloof with everyone around her, but when she was very young she helped to rescue Fringilla, the Elf Owl. She and Gill have been close friends ever since. Freya can't stand injustice in the world, but realizes that many of her plans are incredibly idealistic. So she remains in reflective quiet, in contrast to Gill's impulsive nature. She hopes that once in the Northern Kingdoms, the two of them can gather the best warriors there and raise an army to confront St. Aggie's head-on.

Freya was born to a loving family in the middle of Silverveil. She lived with her mom, her dad, and two older siblings. Her family was very supportive and encouraging, and she grew up to believe that everyone was like that. When the time came for her to fledge, she flew deep into the beautiful forest.
However, on her third journey to her favorite spot in all of Silverveil, she noticed a little Elf Owl struggling against three larger Boreals. Freya was tiny for her species, but she still fought back against the St. Aggie's patrols as best as she could. She ended up calling for help, and three other families helped to fight off the owls. Once everyone had left, Freya started to cry, realizing that not everyone was kind. Gill helped to comfort her, and since he had lost his family, he stayed with Freya's until both of them were old enough to leave the nest. Gill began to enjoy Silverveil much more than Kuneer, where he was born, and the two of them lived together in a hollow for a little under a year. The two of them ended up separating for a few months, meeting up every few days until that fateful night when they decided to leave for the Northern Kingdoms.
- Being a Snowy Owl, Freya is an incredibly talented singer.
- Her red marking is a tradition in her family's line of gadfeathers.
- She is distantly related to the Snow Rose.
- Freya's trans, and since she doesn't naturally have all the spots female Snowy Owls have, she paints these markings on herself.
- Her favorite food is foxes.

When she was barely a fledgling, Freya helped to fend off several St. Aggie's soldiers from snatching Gill. Since then, they have been incredibly close friends; while they occassionally argue, they trust each other more than anyone else in the world.
Aegolius

Freya hasn't met the fearsome leader of St. Aggie's, but she's heard tales of his excessive cruelty. It takes a lot for her to hate another creature, but she certainly hates Aegolius. In fact, Freya's life's mission is to defeat him.
