Autistic and semi awkward and isolated zora acting as mortician for various cultures

Son of Yoshino, brother to Kohaku

Resides on outskirts of part of zora's domain in a very nice, but humble looking home. Most of it is underwater connected to caves, some passages tight and hard for others to navigate. Being the mortician, he is the one who comes to collect the bodies, and do what needs to be done with each one. His style is ornate, with jewelery and many flowers and decorations which is highly desirable by the prouder races. He wears leather attire resembling either a koi or one of the great dragons, depending on who it is for. Luminous stone adds to the ensemble as well as a large staff with a lantern meant to help guide

Hachi is a reclusive zora who preffers to keep to himself besides scarce meetings with those he cares about. Yoshino, his father, is a cold-water zora who loves him dearly but gives him a large amount of space to keep him comfortable. His brother Kohaku does as well, but sometimes comes by to make sure he is ok. My friend's Rito, Caspian, also keeps tabs on Hachi and in a branch-off becomes a friend and a lover. But on his own, Hachi simply works most of the time. Leatherworking and studying a large collection of books on the history of his career and culture of the various others he interacts with are his hobbies

All of his work is done from a large, domed morgue which is less meant for body storage and more for prep and general holding for temporary periods of time before the ritual of the funeral begins. Despite his intense personality and ominous demeanor, he speaks clearly and loudly with a soft voice when working. Alone, his voice is an unnerving low, whispering and raspy voice which at times is hard to understand when he speaks too quiet to be heard clearly. A lot of his behaviors are more feral than most zora as well; moving to four legs often for easier locomotion, using body language for most of his communication (albeit too subtle for most to understand) and a variety of glutteral sounds instead of words

Lacks a tongue, speaking using strong vocal chords. Teeth are true to a cookie cutter and jaw is strong. Bioluminescence spreads all over his body, except for his back and around his neck in a ring
