Honeydew

Honeydew's magic is related to wish granting. Every once in a while, it grants a random wish from someone around it, whether or not the thought was meant to be a wish. This magic seems to operate on almost no rules, except always giving an outcome that didn't make Honeydew happy. Magic is weird like this. Honeydew, like many Pacapillars, has no control over this magic. The only flaw of the magic is its inability to understand anything that isn't words. Due to this, less intelligent creatures are unaffected, which helped to fuel Honeydew's love for pets.
Honeydew is a bright and cheerful Pacapillar. It is always open to chatter with others, and is happy to help anyone out with anything regarding pets. It often finds itself having trouble carrying conversations, however, and is incredibly awkward whenever the other person doesn't carry the conversation either.
It tries its best to help others, but in truth, Honeydew's powers make it incredibly hard for anyone to get close to it. Anyone who had tried getting close to it usually ended up being driven away by one of their wishes twisted by Honeydew's magic. By now, Honeydew had almost given up on hope to actually get close to anyone who isn't a pet.
Honeydew has one pet so far. Hope is a Pride pet, with the appearance of a small rainbow with two dots for eyes and a curved line for a mouth. Hope is capable of speech, but not very complicated thinking, and is unaffected by Honeydew's powers. They first met here.

Background
Honeydew had always loved the other species of the world since it was young. Be it Snekkets or the various pets Pacapillars carried, it was curious about all of them. They vowed to themselves that she would grow up to be someone who cared for them.
Though Honeydew originally wanted to open a pet shelter, its limited resources eventually limited them to being a vet. Not that it disliked it, though! It was simply not ideal, but they grew to be okay with it.
