Emery is generally a very skittish and timid type of man. Being a single father, he tends to worry himself to death about his daughter, Minnie. He tries his best not to interfere with her life, but most of the time he can't help but worry himself to death. Especially since she'd recently went missing. Normally he'd be at his job, but now he spends most of his time looking for any sign of her to no avail. Though before his daughter had went missing, he was very consumed by his work as a bartender. Despite this, he's extremely socially awkward, preferring not to talk in most situations. Having the unfortunate train of thought that his ideas and comments aren't necessary; he holds his tongue. He makes his best effort to push through and make small talk with his customers, but he's always anxious about what those around him think of him. Which lets him get walked all over by people he'd rather not interact with. He kisses a lot of ass, being overly agreeable just to not step on anyone's toes. He doesn't exactly stand up for himself in most situations. Emery also tends to very very emotional. He will cry at a hairpin trigger, and isn't exactly afraid to let people see it. Tiny things set him off, and it takes him a while to calm down. He'll cry for anyone around him, he's just way too empathetic towards people around him. He likes to see the best in people, even if he can't see the same in himself.
