From the bustling city of Mex, Beckett and her family moved to a small town in Elevea. It wasn't easy to move from the fast speed hustble bustle pace of the city to the quiet and lonely town of Fogtund. Beckett tries her damnest to fit in, but the people aren't too fond her usual loud antics. So she run finds herself in the comfort of the woods. She would often wonder why she never visited a forest before. Hell, she always wondered why her parents never let her hike through a forest before. There's a good reason why. On a foggy evening, Beckett finds herself lost in the tangly maze of the woods. She was certain the path before her was the right way home, yet she got further and further away from familiar sights. A looming figure stood before her, eyes red stared deep within her. Beckett may have stood frozen upon seeing the shadowy figure but all the figure did was gave raised a finger and pointed to a way out of the forest. Beckett had encountered herself, her very first cyprtid sighting.

Since then, Beckett was dead set on finding out more of these creatures hiding in the woods. Is it the reason why the townspeople advised her not to go in through the forest, she would wonder. But she care not for it. When Beckett smells a mystery is afoot, she stands on the frontline, her camera and notepad ready and out. She joined the school's newspapers and used her position to scout out clues and news that would help her in her adventures. With her crew of journlists pals, Dalfon and Harper, she's going to unravel what the town is hiding from the world. Little does she know that the cryptids are less than strangers to her.
