Luther was from a litter of 2 from unknown parents. Luther was the confident older brother, Flossie was the timid younger sister. They were dumped on a hiking trail just outside the city limits. The trail housed a small community of homeless humans who unofficially adopted the pair. Drifters offered food to the siblings in passing, and the pair offered protection to the humans at night. 

Luther enjoyed the stray lifestyle, but Flossie had been waiting her whole life for the right human to come along and take them home. The stigma of their breed kept Luther and Flossie as strays, but a recurring hiker has taken in interest in Flossie. Flossie and Luther are at odds about separating. Flossie yearned for the protection that a home would offer, Luther was suffocated by the thought of losing his freedom. 

Routine: 

- Dawn: Hunting on hiking trail. 

- Midday: Roaming streets/dog parks. A social and carefree time spent together and with friends. Luther will occasionally indulge Flossie on spontaneous adventures. 

- Dusk: If hunting failed in the morning, check again at dusk. Snoozing around with Flossie if food is plentiful.

- Night: Guard duty at the campground. Luther and Flossie watch the campers and each other from muggers, theives, other dogs, and wild animals.
