Cyber Court Dragons 2021
Cyber Court Dragon Physical Traits: These dragons have been engineered to be on the smaller, nearly-humanoid sized range, however they can be very large as their Hathian and Court heritage allows. Also some amount of color-rank size variation will affect this. They have hide on most of their bodies, however they also have belly scales and armor plating on their shoulders that mixes some of the horns of the Courts and the Hathian armor traits. Some might have 'extra' scales though those will not be visible on the images. They are bipedal to a large degree, with paw-like digitigrade hind feet, their forelegs are quite short compared to their thigh-heavy hind limbs, and those forelegs have small wing sails distilled from their Hathian genes. They have two large semi-transparent leathery wings with 3 visible fingers and a very prominent wrist thumb, all of which have strong curved claws visible - except their hind feet, they do have claws, but they are generally hidden. Their head is narrow, angular, and dish-shaped, and has an obvious 'nose beak' of heavier plating, as well as the modified Hathian 'eye horns'. This horn covers the front of their forehead as a mask, and splits into long, straight pointed horns to the side of their head. They do have external ears but they are not visible below this horn arrangement. They have eyes with a normal single iris, which can be of any typical color, however they do often change with their mood (they just aren't faceted as Pernese are). They have a tall, very visible neck and head crest that extends only to their upper neck. Some variations may be described but do not appear on the image. Their tail is thick at the base, and is just over 1/3 the full length of dragon, and is unadorned. Though they are not Pernese they do have pretty standard -TH ending names, and they are in fact egg-layers, even though they themselves were engineered. They will be able to produce offspring with any adequately-sized species, and those with either no wings, wing-arms, or multiple wings may be in for some interesting hybridization! They will normally take up to 3 full years to grow from hatchling to adult capable of reproducing normally, however they may still be used as genetic material for samples if needed before then.
Size: these are measured 'to the shoulder' with their forefeet off the ground, not on it! They range from about 5'8 at the shoulder (size 1) to an average of around 8' at shoulder (size 3), to quite big 13' at shoulder (size 6).
Strength: from sitting-in-front-of-the-TV-playing-video-games-all-day (strength 1) to an average of 'can lift two human-sized weights' (strength 3), and quite rare 'lift a loaded hauling truck' (strength 6).
Speed: they're all pretty quick on their feet, or in the air, however they might be 'deliberate and slow' (speed 1), an average of 'reaches about 40 mph in the air' (speed 3), to rockets around the room up to 100 mph (speed 6)
If they have any other special qualities such as physical resistance to damage types or durability, endurance for how long they can keep up their activities, or their intellect being something unique, those will also be listed as a 1-to-6 rank, though anything of 1 rank will probably want to be ignored...
Host mothers may slightly influence their implanted eggs, but not to the extent that it would mean they are a 'mother'. ALL dragons on the image have donated genetics, ALL of them are considered of equal parentage value, and ALL offspring are to be considered "unrelated" for that reason. Cyber Court dragons can come in any gender for their color rank, but tend toward the typical shown below. They have not been engineered for other gender expression, though at least one of the donor parents is... flexible...
Ranked colors are as follows:
Green - usually female, smallest among normal colors
Blue - usually male, smallest among males typically, and slightly larger than greens
Purple - usually female, medium to small
Red - usually male however a lot of these are actually females, medium to small
Brown - usually male (and that one in the middle that looks gold? that's BROWN... very very bright shiny brown), medium to large sized
Bronze - usually male, medium to large sized, and can in this case be quite big
Gold - usually female, medium to large sized, and fairly rare
Color variation among the Cyber Court is strong, often with very brightly contrasting wingsails and belly armor, though only their main body color is counted as their rank. All have some kind of contrast on their belly armor, even if it's the same rank (a very pale green body might have a brightly aqua or golden belly, or might have a deep green - she's still going to be a green!).
Unranked colors: Markings and wing contrasts, as well as their armor, belly, and horns, may be determined by their genes, though they do not reflect any form of ranking. Hathian horn ranks do not apply to these dragons. Those colors may include black, graphite, grey, silver, static, white, platinum, gold, copper, champagne, yellow, orange, and blue-grey. Markings may include point, speckling, mottling or clouding, high-contrast or very vibrant, glow markings, lightning and static, swirling and metallic looking reflections. Lightning patterns on their wingsails is the most common marking and is generally the 'default' marking.
Cyber Court Dragons Abilities: These will all have the following to a certain degree, expressed as a 1-6 strength value and explained per-dragon. If a power is rolled with a 4, 5, or 6 they will get a more detailed write-up, otherwise consider the other abilities to be 'background but present', though not exploitable as a useful ability.
Telepathy - the ability to communicate with others using their mind alone; generally this is strongest among their bond or sponsor, and other telepathic creatures. It may be quite limited, or very broad.
Verbal Speech * - the ability to form speech using their lungs and mouth, note well that Hathian influence changes this ability. Some might have a very big vocabulary, others not so much.
Teleportation - on-site, they can move from one spot to another in an instant. This may be limited by the distance they can travel, the number of times they can do it in quick succession, or how much effort it takes to do it. Also note that Hathians cannot teleport on-site, and if they have strong influence, this power will be significantly reduced.
Teleport - off-world / interdimensional, these dragons can travel between planets or dimensions to a reasonable degree, at the very least they can return to their bond or sponsor world under their own power. Hathians are considerably stronger at this, but also the basic Cyber Court have been moved in and out of time-space, which has impacted their development.
Electrical Powers - this is the key difference between the Cyber Court and any other Court, they are able to sense and manipulate many forms of electrical energy. This includes a variety of uses:
Electrical Resistance and Sense - they can detect electricity nearby, and are fully resistant to any damage that it might cause to anything else.
Lightning Breath or Lightning Control - can Palpatine things from a distance, sometimes very great distance!
Current - can be used as a battery or to drain them, can power a device requiring electric energy without it being plugged in.
Electronics and Computers - able to sense, control, command, and interface with computer devices; anything that uses a circuit to determine outcomes, and is powered by electrical energy normally; they might be able to read data off a hard drive, sense wireless communication, or turn on or off computer systems around them. If it's powered, it is their domain. REGULAR MECHANICAL DEVICES can only be 'turned on or off' but not made to do things they couldn't normally - so they might be able to turn on a water pump but if it doesn't have a computer controlling it, they cannot make it work better.
Static Shock, aka 'Zappy' - they are often surrounded by a field of static energy, which might cause minor jolts but no lasting damage - except to sensitive machinery and computers! Also this power shows up in the form of a sparkly, bright trail behind them, or where they were in a teleport.
Weather Sense and Control - more broadly used to sense the local weather patterns, or alter them in very minor ways; they cannot alter wind or water (unless ICE has also been included, thanks to a host mother influence) but might be able to spark nearby clouds, triggering other effects such as might come from 'seeding' a cloud formation.
Court influences from the host mother might include details that aren't necessarily visible on the image (because I have ONE adult image), though you can feel free to adjust as needed if the dragon is listed as having a strong influence. Court dragons are heavily represented as Sponsored, however they are actually more likely to be bonded than others. They can go either way, however note well that all of these dragons have made the CHOICE to bond if they do!
Light - horns forward, meaning slightly stronger upper horns, jaunty head / neck crest may appear down neck; also might specifically have 'glow' markings; Telepathy+, Verbal Speech, Teleportation (on-site), Fire Breath, Fireballs
Dark - lots of horns, meaning those armor plates may also be slightly spiky, also they may have venom lurking in their teeth and horns; Telepathy+, Verbal Speech, Teleportation (on-site), Venom/Poison
Blood - back pointing horns, tail fins and head/ear frill, spiky head/neck crest that goes all the way to shoulders; markings, may have stronger 'wrist thumb' dexterity on wings thanks to prominent finger/claw there; Telepathy, Verbal Speech+, Teleportation (on-site), Draconic Command, Blood-activated Elemental Magic
Hathian influences from the trio of pure Hathians as well as directly from Mysy the single female host tend to run toward stronger armor plating and visible scales over hide rather than just hide on the body. However they also may have various added elemental powers over ice, acid, or fire. They are the most likely to pack-bond to one another, another dragon, or be sponsored, rather than straight-up pair with a humanoid partner. They're happy to do so, but will often be found in a team or group of dragons instead. Powers and abilities include Telepathy++, and if they are shown as a strong influence, the offspring cannot speak verbally. Also their on-site Teleportation is stunted, in favor of dimensional / offworld teleportation. All the offspring can have both, but ones with this influence have different measures of ability.
Fira/Hathian influences, from the pair of hybrid offspring Nivee and Sequrom, strongly include the lightning coloration, bipedalism, and tall crest, as well as their very powerful abilities with electricity and weather. Because they do double-up on the inherited Hathian side, they seem to show a remarkable ability to socialize, even if they're very, very quiet about it.
