An airheaded pop star from outer space who spent most of his life in a gilded cage. He's flown the coop and landed on Earth, where he hopes to spread his wings and his music under a new identity and the alias of Canary Blue. "Canary Blue" is his pop star persona, an alien "prince" from space, while "Mercury" is actually a regular human bean from Earth, not an alien. ... He thinks he's doing a good job hiding, at least. (Hiding in plain sight, right?) However... he may or may not be on the run from a diabolical dad and the space mafia, o-oops.

His species are Sirens, avian shapeshifters prized for their innate beauty and ability to bewitch people with their beautiful songs. Natural empaths, they feel emotions strongly; stronger emotions can influence their songs and the listener's moods.

Mercury's songs have the ability to mesmerize and charm whoever hears them, putting them in a dreamlike state where they can be easily manipulated... not that he'd use it for evil because he is a good boy. Effects can last up to an hour if the target(s) were listening for at least 60 seconds.
