"Bring in the clowns!"

Jokesters are the average clowns that many think of when they think of the species as a whole. Always laughing and smiling, these clowns get their Jolly from making others happy. They have a single funny bone located in either one of their hands. They are very kind, but often their always bubbly nature makes them stick out when they’re in unconventional environments.

Jokesters were around for many centuries, with some of their first documented appearances being in medieval times. Back then, they were called Fools, regarded highly for their ability to entertain their court. However, as time went on, many started to laugh less at their antics and more at the Jokesters themselves. Finally, it became such commonplace that Fool became synonymous with an idiot. For this reason, they go by Jokesters now and calling a clown a fool is considered very offensive. Despite everything, they chose to continue to make others laugh.
