Backstory From a young age, Dom had a lot of pressure put on his back. He was born into a wealthy family, and therefore was required to help keep the family in a good image. His father was strict, and usually paid Dom no mind unless he did something extremely well or helpful.
His father constantly dated and remarried. Although Dom wanted to be happy for him, he also became stressed out over the constant changes in his life. Once he would get used to his new parental figure, they would disappear, only for a new one to take their place shortly after. It was exhausting to keep up with them.
Building relationships came to be pointless for him. He didn't see the point in having to do so, seeing as they'd be gone soon. He became apathetic towards every new figure that came into his life, but still pretended to care for the sake of his family.
Dom was easily agitated as a child. He didn't have much interest in making friends. People would tend to be a bother to him, as well as a distraction from what he really wanted or needed to do. He kept to himself as often as he could.
Whenever he needed an escape, he shut himself away and did his own thing. Unfortunately, this became a habit. He would use this time to just fixate on studying alone for more and more extended periods of time.
