Regardless of his age, Rhys has always been childish in nature. His immaturity is most often displayed through his need for constant attention and validation. Some would joke that Rhys believes that the earth revolves around himself rather than the sun because Rhys has a hard time delaying gratification and will often whine and pout until he gets his way. He has difficulty distinguishing between what he actually needs and what he simply desires. His use of complaining and pouting can be seen as manipulative, but he is relatively harmless and has no hurtful intentions. He is simply selfish in a childish manner and has not learned to put other peoples' needs above his own. Rhys is quick-tempered but does his best to find coping mechanisms that will help him calm down before devolving into a tantrum. When Rhys feels angry, he will often channel his emotions into his music. He loves to get away from his everyday stressors by going for long car rides with his iPod on shuffle. No matter what song blares through his speakers, Rhys will completely go with the emotion set by the song and belt out the lyrics as he drives. If the first song to play is a sad song, Rhys will bawl along with the doleful singer. If the next song is rebellious and edgy, he'll roll the windows down and fly his middle finger high in the sky. Often times, music helps Rhys to express himself in ways that help him to forget about his rage.

Rhys also struggles to respect authority. He dislikes rules and will go out of his way to overstep boundaries simply because someone told him "no." When told that he cannot do something, Rhys is certain that he must do it, simply because he doesn't like having limitations. He can be hostile towards authority figures and is often criticized for his bad attitude.

If there are two things that Rhys loves more than anything else, they are food and attention. He will often participate in attention-seeking behavior and requires constant stimulation, as he is bored rather easily. He loves to eat fattening foods such as pizza and donuts, but he has an extremely high metabolism and could eat an entire feast without adding even a bit of weight to his lithe and enviable figure. He is rather lazy and does not like to work for things that he wishes for; he would rather beg than sweat for what he wants. Rhys's immaturity can be annoying for some, but beneath his demanding exterior, he is a compassionate and caring being.

Like a young child, Rhys is easily excited and filled with wonder at the world around him. He absolutely loves to travel and dreams of seeing the world, far and wide. Though he doesn't like to be left alone in his thoughts very often, he can sit under the night sky and stare at the stars for hours on end, fantasizing and daydreaming without interruption. Every day, the beauty of the world and the people within it continue to amaze him.

Rhys is very loving towards those around him and can be loyal to a fault. He has a hard time letting go of the old and accepting the new. Change and death are both very difficult for him to cope with, and he often reminisces about how things used to be and wishes that he could go back to those days. One of the most difficult things for Rhys to accept is the way that his relationship with Indie has changed over the years. Though the two were nearly inseparable throughout their teenage years, they grew apart when Indie left to go to college. Throughout their friendship, Rhys developed feelings for Indie, but he never acted on them. Sometimes he regrets this decision. It hurts that he and Indie are no longer very close; he wants everyone to love him just as much as he loves them. He often worries that he gives too much love and doesn't receive quite enough in return, and he has a hard time respecting the relationships that his friends have outside of him. Though he can be rather selfish and needy, Rhys doesn't want to hurt anyone and often feels conflicted, particularly by his harbored feelings for Indie and his current relationship with his boyfriend Roman.

Even so, Rhys cares for Roman very deeply. As an uprising businessman, Roman provides the prospect of a very promising future for Rhys. Rhys will occasionally joke that Roman is his 'sugar daddy' and is very submissive in the relationship. Though Rhys is uncertain if his relationship with Roman will last, the pair spends a great deal of time together when Roman is away from his work. Their relationship is hot and heavy; Rhys has the tendency to be very alluring and provocative when given the chance.

As an occupation, Rhys is a fire dancer. He can make any traditional fire dance seductive and exciting. He loves the feeling of heat against his face and the thrill of flames licking at his fingers. He is fearless about being burnt and enjoys the feeling of power that comes from toying with one of the most dangerous elements. He loves to throw torches and hear the gasp of the audience as they wait to see whether or not he will successfully complete the stunt. Rhys's friend Royce will often help him book gigs in the club that he works at, and he also gives Rhys free admission!

Rhys can be very affectionate and is an extremely heavy sleeper. When sleeping with others, he will often migrate towards their side of the bed. Occasionally he will wake up in the middle of the night and find that, while sleeping, he has wrapped his arms around them. He loves to cuddle and can be extremely protective of things that belong to him, especially people. Though he can be demanding and selfish, he is devoted, caring, and faithful, even in times of trial. (Thank you wesleydog @ DA for writing his bio! )
