Monika & Cordelia

As of current, Monika sports a typical maid outfit, with a pink tint on the ruffles. Her hair is put in two low ponytails. Two pink lace ribbons support them. Utensils are strapped on her thighs, and other utensils (including Little Mimi) are hidden underneath her dress. She has a special strap on her back for her chainsaw. She does not have wings on her back like her sister, but rather has them on her head. As a kid, she wore a formal dress.

Before Nadine, Monika lived with her sister and father in the Land of the Unspoken. They were a typical vampire family, until an ambush took place when she was the age of 80. These ambushes were when the Great Avalon just became ruler after her mother's death. The outlawing of witchcraft and the supernatural became in affect around this time as it was considered an act of treason after an witch incident occured. Vampires were included in supernatural abilities, therefore their village was the first to be attacked. Monika and Cordelia's father gave them a way to escape, while he stayed behind to ensure any escapee's survival. Monika remembers constantly crying during her time of migrating while Cordelia attempted to comfort her with hand games.

Upon turning 120 years old, Monika and Cordelia finally found a place to stay in the Nadine Kingdom. Nadine spotted them seeking refuge and offered a hand to the both of them. Nadine treated the two like her own; Monika felt excited to have a guardian again, yet Cordelia was nervous due to the idea that if found out as vampires, Nadine could take their lives as quick as she accepted it. Cordelia urged Monika to hide any vampiric features much to her dismay. However, a full moon night would expose the two as such and the empress still accepted the two, arguably more than before. Nadine dedicated herself to support them and accomadate to their lifestyle. After reaching their late 200's, Monika and Cordelia voluntarily offered to be Nadine's maids both out of boredom and a desire to assist the empress as her duties piled. House Nadine became a home of found family, consisting of the three and Nadine's eventual husband.

During a surprise errand run for Monika, Nadine, and Emperor Delite, Cordelia is captured by an spy of House Viyella and is held as a hostage until her planned execution. The Nadine residence found out she was taken through a personal letter by Avalon, stating that she will be held for a definite amount of days before execution unless Nadine assists her in executing those who commit treason through witchcraft. Monika was heartbroken and internalized her depression from this looming threat over her head. Delite told her to not give up; they will simply find another way to save her without giving in. Thus, Monika kept her excited spirit to boost her confidence and hope until they could figure out the perfect rescue plan.

Fast forwarding to Cadmium's arrival in the Nadine Kingdom, Monika becomes overjoyed realizing that a ensemble of witches and supernatural beings came. Nadine recognizing a majority of the group consisting of journey-embarking witches and wizards, takes this chance to repay her debt to two witches who set her path, as well as finally save Cordelia. Thus, Monika's adventure with her beloved empress begins.
