Personality
"...I'm washing the dishes right now...Talk to me when I'm done."

A complete opposite to the charismatic Monika, Cordelia is a stoic woman of few words. She prioritizes any duty she has and rarely lets herself open up to anyone but Nadine and Monika. She is strong but significantly weaker to the other as well. She appears closed off due to her past; she constantly is scared of being hunted down thus hides her true self. Around her surrogate family, she is capable of cracking a out of character sarcastic remark and have her gentle and caring moments. If you are not from House Nadine however, good luck cracking the ice in her heart.

In her youth, she was even more playful than Monika. This rubbed off on her sister a clear and significant amount. She also has a small attention span like her sister. If Monika is bored, Cordelia is as well.

Appearance

As of current, Cordelia sports a typical maid outfit, with gold coloring on the ends of the dress. Her hair is short and is an extremely dark red. Knives are strapped on her thighs, and other utensils are hidden underneath her dress. As a kid, she wore a formal dress.

Backstory

Before Nadine, Cordelia lived with her sister and father in the Land of the Unspoken. They were a typical vampire family, until an ambush took place when she was the age of 120. These ambushes were when the Great Avalon just became ruler after her mother's death. The outlawing of witchcraft and the supernatural became in affect around this time as it was considered an act of treason after an witch incident occured. Vampires were included in supernatural abilities, therefore their village was the first to be attacked. Cordelia and Monika's father gave them a way to escape, while he stayed behind to ensure any escapee's survival. This would be the beginning of Cordelia's emotional repression.

Upon turning 160 years old, Cordelia and Monika finally found a place to stay in the Nadine Kingdom. Nadine spotted them seeking refuge and offered a hand to the both of them. Nadine treated the two like her own; while Monika felt excited to have a guardian again, Cordelia was nervous due to the idea that if found out as vampires, Nadine could take their lives as quick as she accepted it. Cordelia urged Monika to hide any vampiric features much to her sister's dismay. However, a full moon night would expose the two as such and the empress still accepted the two, arguably more than before. Nadine dedicated herself to support them and accomadate to their lifestyle. After reaching their late 200's, Cordelia and Monika voluntarily offered to be Nadine's maids both out of boredom and a desire to assist the empress as her duties piled. House Nadine became a home of found family, consisting of the three and Nadine's eventual husband.

During a surprise errand run for Monika, Nadine, and Emperor Delite, Cordelia is captured by an spy of House Viyella and is held as a hostage until her planned execution. She attempts to break out her cell, but after accepting that her prison was made specially for supernatural beings to not break, she gives up. She prepares herself emotionally for execution, but hopes that her family will come save her.

"Only family...matters."

little sister

"Monika...Thank you for being in my life."

While Monika's high energy may be too much to handle for Cordelia to interact with her super deeply, the two of them share a strong sisterly bond and will protect each other as much as they'd protect the house.

While you couldn't tell physically looking at her, Cordelia was riddled with separation anxiety during her cell time.

master, surrogate mother

"Shall we have bacon and oatmeal for breakfast again, Nadine?"

Cordelia's beloved master. She will never forget her kindness for giving her and Monika asylum after an ambush in the Land of the Unspoken. Both sisters were treated as Nadine's own. Nadine secretly favoritizes Cordelia, but only by a small margin, she promises.

surrogate father

"...I...Cannot let you cook. Not again. I'll take care of it, father.

When Cordelia married Delite, she was first to accept him into the family compared to Monika who took a while. She loves him like she loves her past father, albeit quietly. She hates his cooking though. Unlike Nadine, she does not refer to Delite as master and just as her father.
