Lucia lived in a small, secluded village with her mother. It was a place where miiredene felt free to be themselves. However, others heard of this strange place with people who were said to have the ability to change forms. A witch hunt was held, elves destroying the village, claiming the miiredene to be demons. Lucia's mother wanted to protect her daughter, so she trapped her in the mirror in a small locket which could only be opened with magic. She promised Lucia that she would free her as soon as she was safe. However, time passed. Hours turned to days turned to months turned to years. 300 years passed before the locket was fished out of the bottom of a lake. The lake Lucia's mother had thrown it in when she had been taken away. It wasn't long before the mysterious items trader Amaranth got ahold of the locket. For now, Lucia would remain trapped in this mirror, unageing due to the magical nature of the mirror realm, until the day someone freed her.
