BIOGRAPHY

Early life

Iris was born in Sweden, she lived in a village in the south together with her parents and half sister Linnéa. As a kid she was very interested in seeing the world. She would daydream about traveling to the smallest villages to the biggest, most advanced cities. In school she was a quiet and hardworking student. She surprisingly found gym class pretty fun and also found science very interesting. Iris didn’t have many friends at all growing up, sure she did have some friends at school but was often found alone when school ended and she graduated. Not that she really minded however. She got her first job at 18 years old and when she got her first paycheck she made the decision to save up. Save up so she could one day fulfill her childhood dream. Her first job was at a bar which she worked at for about two years. She didn’t feel at home at all there, being surrounded by drunk and loud people made her uncomfortable, not to mention the older men who usually catcalled or ‘flirted’ with her. Iris did however manage to bargain with her boss to clean the bar in the early mornings so the last 8 months she didn’t have to be surrounded by nasty people

Growing up

At 21 Iris gathered up her belongings and started her new life. Her sister Linnéa helped and encouraged Iris a lot, even if she would be really sad that her dear sister would leave. Their parents had mixed emotions. On one end they were glad she had found a purpose in life but another part of them was worried about her safety - who knew what dangers lied beyond the shore. She started her journey in The Undying city in England. Desperately wanting to see an alive, large city. She was not disappointed with what she saw. The Undying city is one of the oldest cities that still contains buildings from The Fall. Nowadays the city is very steampunk centered, with lots of steam-powered machinery. It was different from what she had seen - since she’s been stuck in the same village all her life until this moment. She lived there for about 2 months, at a very sweet old lady’s bed and breakfast which she also helped out with the business. Her next destination was the United Islands. Sadly… things did not go as planned, first a storm arrived which delayed her journey for a short period of time - having to stay at a crappy motel for a few nights. When she finally got to continue things were looking good until one evening when a group of three ambushed her while she was out on a walk. The men held her down and started sawing her left horn off, selling a horn like that in the black market could get you lots of cash. Luckily she was saved by a mysterious man who seemed to come out of nowhere, but not before the horn was already cut off. The man took care of her since she was frozen in shock and pain, he said his name was Chester.

Today

One thing led to another and Iris and Chester fell in love. They eventually got married as well as getting two kids, Sclera and Fortress. They now live in Georgia in a house in the woods just right outside a village, close to the sea. It's mostly her and her kids as Chester is at the sea most of the time, but he visits as often as he can. Iris has her own little flower shop in the town and even though she had to abandonen her traveling dream she's very satisfied with her life at the moment.
