A young man of east-Asian descent with black hair and grey eyes. His approximate height is 5’10”. He can be differentiated from his identical twin by the mole underneath his left eye and his neat hairstyle. However, these characteristics cannot be relied upon. According to witness reports, it is not uncommon for them to alter their distinguishing characteristics and pretend to be each other.
Similarly, they are known to don disguises in order to get closer to their targets. Store employees, high school students, family members — they have pretended to be a variety of people, even crossdressing at times. But for better or worse, they (especially Amari) favour wearing their own faces while killing their targets.
Crimes:
As of March 19th, 20XX, Amari is confirmed to be involved in 23 cases. The majority of the cases are linked to Atelier (see case no. 06964), with the victims being current and previous members, rival organisations, or related in other ways.
Amari never works alone. When he is sighted, it should be assumed that Campari (see case no. 08327) is also nearby. Amari specialises in close- to mid-ranged combat and predominantly uses knives and pistols. Victims are typically killed with a single laceration across the neck or bullet to the head.
In a handful of cases, victims were found with numerous torture wounds. All of the victims were former or current members of Atelier. It can be concluded that, in addition to being an enforcer, Amari also takes on the role of a “traitor hunter.” This is an infrequent role, however. The vast majority of his victims are members of rival organisations.
Amari is primarily active in Western Europe. While he has been sighted in the Americas and Asia, no significant activities have been reported.
The first confirmed case occurred six years ago on the island of Corsica. At the time, it was considered a standard — though large in scale — conflict between two of the larger groups on the island. After Amari and Campari’s existences became apparent, further investigations were conducted and it was determined that they were present during the conflict. It is likely that Atelier was involved with the creation of the conflict.
After the Corsican incident, Amari has continued to be active as one of Atelier’s enforcers. His current age and length of activity make it clear that he was brought up within the organisation and specifically trained for his role. Thus, both his skills and mentality are abnormal for one of his age. He is especially skilled at analysing his opponents’ intentions and adjusting his words and actions to match, which makes him difficult to read.
If agents inexperienced with Atelier encounter Amari, they should disengage and inform their superiors immediately. Absolutely do not attempt to subdue him. Observations have shown that he is a restraining influence on Campari.
Notes:
While Amari has only been confirmed to be active for six years, Campari has been confirmed to be active for nine. Proceed with the assumption that they have been active for the same period of time.
Witness statements indicate that he has a serious and fair-minded personality. If you can ascertain that the man you are speaking to is Amari, it is much safer to try to negotiate with him.
Recently sighted in Veneto, Italy with members of a Triad sub-organization. It is unclear what activities he was involved in or why he was working with the Triad.
Amari's twin brother and partner. Their teamwork is so seamless it is almost as if they can read each other's minds. Campari is regarded as a troublemaker even within Atelier, an organization full of troublesome criminals, but his abilities make up for the headaches he causes.

Design Notes
Ren has bluntly cut hair that falls above his chin. His eyes may be open or closed, but please note that he has a mole under his left (our right) eye.
His main color is blue, and he leans towards softer and more muted colors: gray, cream, and light cool colors. His main motifs are water, fish, and lotuses.
Ren's default expression is a gentle and prince-like smile. He tends to stay smiling, even when upset or irritated.
About
Gentle and calm, Ren exudes an refined aura that is the complete opposite of his wild and capricious brother. As a result of being dragged every which way by Souta, he has developed an astoundedly patient personality, and is flexible enough to adjust to whatever event is tossed his way.
Yet this does not mean that he is always calm. Though it is rare, when Ren is angered, he will never let go of his grudge. The way he ruthlessly slices through obstacles with a cold smile makes some say that he is the scarier twin.

Backstory
Having been a part of Atelier from a young age, Ren does not have many memories of “normal life.” He knows that he had one — for the few short years before he was taken in — but he remembered none of it. Instead, his memories were full of the harsh training and lessons he had to survive in order to become a full-fledged member of Atelier. In those times, his name had truly been a comfort to him.
In the facility, none of the children were referred to by name, for it was entirely possible that none of them would live to receive one. Yet his sister had snuck into the database and read their files, then smuggled what she had learned to them. Ren. 蓮. It was the character for lotus, or so the Japanese-English dictionary said.
Ah, what a comfort, to know that someone had cared about him. Even after they had lost one member of their small family, Ren was still not alone. It didn’t matter that others regarded his brother as “the superior twin.” They were family, and they were together.
They may have been mere pawns on Atelier’s chessboard, but as long as they were together, they would be alright.
Extra Information
Ainsel
His name is his most treasured possession. Only his brother is allowed to call him by name. Other Atelier members simply call him “Amari” and, on missions, he uses whatever alias is appropriate at the moment. Even when he is free to act as a civilian, he refuses to use his own name, instead calling himself “Rei.”
His Brother's Babysitter
Ren’s unofficial title in Atelier. It would be natural for him to be insulted, but in truth, he doesn’t mind it at all. He does what Souta cannot and Souta does what he cannot. It’s not their fault that others can’t see that their relationship is reciprocal.
Lost Cat

The person he loves and trusts most. Others may scoff and see him as nothing more than Souta's accessory, which is...not entirely incorrect. Ren's strengths cover Souta's weaknesses, but the reverse is true as well. Together they are one whole. Together they will survive. He will not lose another sibling.
