Keir is a warrior changeling that was exiled from his home hive in Germania and ditched his second hive with Queen Chrysalis.

Knowing nothing but to protect, he joined the Royal Guards of Ponyville.

It wasn't long after when Canterlot was invaded, and the princess residing in Ponyville found herself in a troubling situation.

There comes moments in time when you know the odds are more than against you, but there is no other positive alternative. He took on the group of changelings that attempted to subdue the princess, all single-hoofed. He almost made it through the whole lot, but even luck runs out eventually.

To his utter surprise, he found himself in a hospital bed, unchanged, and still breathing. A pastel blue alicorn was sat at his side, waiting. From there on out, he was her sole bodyguard.

It didn't take long for her curiosity to kick in about his species, and he felt pleased that someone accepted him like this.

Though accused of spellcraft, those closest know that Keir didn't need any magic to have an alicorn fall in love with him. And unfortunately for him, neither did he.
