About
Arden is a recent graduate of The Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors wizard academy in Waterdeep. He has joined up in an adventuring party with Kira to make Faerun a better place while also actually using his degree. He has a familiar named Evard and they usually take the form of an absolute unit of a grey and white cat with a tiny witch hat on.
Personality
Arden is a generally nervous and kind young man who treats people as fairly as he is able to, but his cowardice can lead him to make decisions without all the information. He can get sickeningly cruel when he "knows" that he's in the right. When pushed past his limits he becomes grumpy and despondent, but never loses his steadfast determination. He refuses to target people who can't afford the harm it will cause them. He prides himself on his book smarts and as such hates being wrong only more than he hates not knowing something.

Backstory
Born October 17th. A nervous, not-so-young, elven lad who has just graduated from The Watchful Order of Magists and Protectors. He is the unholy combination of nerd AND fratboy; smokes weed & drinks. He was an RA at college for the four years he was there so a good amount of the graduates from the school will know of him. He's joined an adventuring party to gain "experience" in his field by chasing bounties and taking on heroic challenges. He actively avoids his high elven family who looks down on the shorter-lived races like lower lifeforms.
Aliyah Sylvain
Arden's older sister who he ran away from home with. They were once inseperable, but have begun to forge their own paths in Waterdeep. He always looked up to her and there's little he wouldn't do to make her proud.
Pickles the Rogue
A college friend of Arden's who made him feel at home at The Order of Magists and Protectors. She was there to learn some spells as an Arcane Trickster and they got along like a house on fire. And may have literally set the house on fire once or twice.
Kira Meadall
Half-Orc Barbarian and group mom who doesn't have time for this shit.
Solaire
Cleric of Light, "PRAISE BE TO THE SUN!!!" A soft boy who will stomp your teeth in if you threaten his god or his friends. A golden retriever in human form.
Dante the Gunslinger
An aasimar gunslinger who does sick kickflips over his enemies.
Gaydrian Lamm
His roommate and rival at college who he caught selling hard drugs to children. Arden exposed him and he was expelled. Gaydrian swore vengeance. Mostly, he attempts to discredit Arden's academic work from a rival school, Eltorchul Academy, with poorly researched rebuttals and plagarized work. If he had any credit in the academic community he's lost it all by now. However, he is right about the shoddiness of Arden's thesis spell, but at this point no one believes him.
