Madame X is my mascot/fursona. She may not resemble me 100% physically, but her personality is what holds my identity. She was inspired by a ton of things, but mostly by the painting Madame X by John Singer Sargent, 1884. It shows a woman who had a life, but in the picture she’s merely Madame X, a mystery to all the onlookers. The painter made Virginie Amélie Avegno(aka Madame X) exquisite, but the public would not have it: they believed it emphasized the sexual allure of a married woman. Once brought to light the painting, model, and artist were mocked and humiliated. The painter fled and the model tried to go back into society, but wasn’t accepted, so she remained in the shadows. The story is intriguing and sad. An article said “that in her later years she took all the mirrors down from her walls, and would only go outside at night.”

And thus my Madame X was born. She feels like she does not belong to anything; a lost soul trapped in an empty shell. I feel like that, as if I have no purpose and don’t belong. Society does not treat me the same because of my differences and flaws. Plus, I push everything away because of my own insecurities. Madame X or ‘X’ for short, battles with demons on a daily basis. When she’s out in public or home alone they scramble their way to the front of her mind. She works hard to keep them at bay, especially in public where all she wants to do is have fun and enjoy life to the fullest. They come back full force when she’s alone, especially at night which gives her little to no sleep. She’s constantly tired.

Madame X may seem intimidating with her quiet and observant demeanor, but she’s far from it once you get to know her. She’s quite kind and fun to be around. Even so, it’s difficult for her to make friends because of her demons, she’s afraid to get close only to get hurt.

When she’s not controlling the demons, Madame X is smiling and having fun. She loves to listen to music and dance, paint, write(mostly fanfics huehue) and enjoy a good book! Her favorite genres are psychological thriller, romance/erotica, Fantasy and contemporary. Or even try out a new recipe, though she’s not a very good cook. She enjoys fruits and when she wants junk food it’s definitely french fries or cookies.

Music is a go-to when she’s having a bad day, she loves classical/opera music or oldies such as Frank Sinatra and Pink Floyd. But when she’s feeling good she likes to boogie to a little of everything. She's also a rocker chick.

In her love life, Madame X is submissive. She serves to one master and it’s Kaz Avaro. She’s kinky as fuck though ;)
