Personality

Featherstar is a very devoted leader, and has always given her all to her clan. She is hard-working, smart, and determined, and will try everything she can before giving up. She is ambitious and not one to coast, and is always looking for new ways to help the clan, even in times of peace. Although she only wants the best for her clan, Featherstar has a tendency to be defensive if her leadership or ideas are challenged. 

Appearance

Featherstar is a rather big she cat, with long fur and a tall plumed tail. Her coat is white with grey tabby markings over her ears, left eye, cheeks, and patches along her back and sides. She has green eyes.  

Relationships

Raintail - Featherstar's sister. The two she-cats are close, and have been since kithood. They often confide in each other, and know each other well even without sharing words.

Gullpaw - Featherstar's apprentice. Gullpaw is showing great promise as a warrior, and Featherstar hopes to foster a sense of duty and accomplishment in her young apprentice. She sees herself in the young cat's devotion to the clan, and hopes that she can set her on a path to becoming a great warrior, and perhaps even a leader or deputy one day.

Hawkstripe - Clan deputy. TBA 

Sharkfang - Senior warrior and Featherstar's ex-rival. Growing up, their relationship was strained as they competed to be the best in MistClan. Their relationship has improved since Featherstar became deputy, and he is now one of her trusted senior warriors. 

Mossfur and Stonefoot - Featherstar's parents. Featherstar has a good relationship with both of her parents. They inspired her to become a great warrior, and she has a great respect for both of them. 

Story

Featherstar was born to MistClan alongside her sister, Raintail; the two sisters were close as kits. Featherkit and Rainkit had an uneventful kithood. 

At six moons old, Featherpaw became an apprentice of MistClan, and was assigned the senior warrior Spruceheart as a mentor. Spruceheart was a loyal warrior, and taught young Featherpaw how to hunt, fight, and provide for the clan. However, Featherpaw wanted more than to just be a warrior, she wanted to be the best warrior, and often trained on her own and with the other warriors of her own accord. She was jealous of the attention that the older apprentice, Sharkpaw, got from the warriors, and especially MistClan's deputy, Whitewing, as he was very talented but frequently slacked off, rather than taking his duties seriously. 

Featherpaw's dedication earned her the title of warrior early, and she was named Featherflight by Froststar not even a full moon after the older Sharkfang. As a warrior, Featherflight worked hard to become a top fighter and strong hunter, and often practiced her skills after patrols, did extra duties, and challenged herself. When Whitewing was forced to retire due to illness, Froststar had to make a tough choice between Featherflight and the older Sharkfang. Hinging her decision on advice from her former deputy, the position was offered to the naturally-talented Sharkfang, but he refused the position, which left Featherflight as the obvious choice. She happily accepted the position, vowing once more to dedicate herself to her clan with all her heart. 

She became a leader at a young age once Froststar passed on to StarClan, although her leadership has thus far been a peaceful one. 

Trivia

• Featherstar has apprenticed Specklestep, Frogfang, and now Gullpaw. 
• Despite her annoyance towards him during their apprenticeship and as younger warriors, Featherstar and Sharkfang are now somewhat good friends, and often joke about their history.
