While he HAS had other children in the past (four, to be precise), Wiss wasn't really around for them. He was very much the absent father. Thus London and his sister Doughnuts are the first of his children he's actually helped to raise, and, as such, he's very much a first time parent with first time parent worries. Wiss wouldn't trade his kids for the world!
London in particular holds a special place in his heart. The boy is so creative and thoughtful - Wiss knows the future holds great things for him! An evening spent romping through the house with his son is an evening well spent, and every question London asks is another gem in the boy's crown. The fact his son sees him as a 'wizzard' flatters him deeply! His only real concern is that London's introverted nature will hold him back. Aside from his sister, all of the boy's friends are imaginary! Wiss therefore does his best to put London out there, into real situations with real people where he has to flex his social skills. But Wiss NEVER pushes London past his breaking point. Whenever he sees that his son is getting too stressed, he always calls it a day. A little boundary pushing can help one grow - too much is harmful. Wiss understands this and always tries his best to strike a good balance between challenges and safe space. He knows he can't be there for London 100% of the time, so wants to lay a solid foundation for the future when the boy will have to stand on his own.

Doughnuts is a strange little girl with no end of adventurous spirit, and also the one Wiss worries most about. Her diet (too much sugar!), her play (so many band aids!), her temper (no fist fights YET, but broken toys abound...); there are very few facets of his daughter that cause him some degree of anxiety. In Doughnuts, Wiss sees a tiny orange version of himself. And he knows precisely the sort of stuff HE got up to as a kid! This doesn't mean he doesn't love her though - quite the contrary! Wiss loves Doughnuts very much, and does his best to curb her more extreme impulses by gently sharing the lessons he learned the hard way.
Wiss rather likes his father in law - he finds his lifestyle interesting, his personality easygoing, his relationship with the kids wonderful, and his conversation enthralling. He never tires of hearing about all the places Boston has visited in his life! He also rather enjoys stories about his mate's childhood.... especially when Cairo is around to groan about it. ;D
But most of all, Wiss appreciates that Boston was there through the rough times, and that the older Parra lent his shoulders to help he and Cairo bear their burdens - he's not sure their little family would be where it is today without him...
When Cairo first unloaded the whole tangled mess that was his relationship with Wiss, Boston didn't quite know how to react. So, in leu of knowledge, he gave into instinct. Thus he found himself dipping into his savings and flying out to have a face-to-face with his son.
Though he initially resented Wiss and was skeptical about his role in Cairo's life, Boston was ultimately instrumental in getting Wiss and Cairo TOGETHER, and was always around to babysit if he was needed. He's not one for telling others what to do. But he wasn't about to let his grandkids' lives suffer because of their parents' mistakes. Tough love is sometimes required!
Drama aside, Boston is pretty close with Wiss these days. He's over the moon to have grandkids to dote on, and the fact his plaboy son has finally settled down into a meaningful relationship honestly helps him sleep better at night. He sees Wiss as an inventive and level-headed individual whose fix-it skills are integral to his community and essential to keeping old tech out of landfills. He's proud of the Parra, too, for getting his life together when push came to shove, and turning out to be such a great role model for London and Doughnuts! He honestly couldn't ask for a better son-in-law!
