as the leader of the fumi empire and fleet, osia has no problem playing the villain. zey will do what is required of zem to sustain zeyr people, and the raw resources of a planet as rich as tenai will do just that.

of course, he misses his dear iliou, the only one who truly understood him. but however strange the sudden permission to do what zey see fit to the small planet, zey see no reason to doubt the path zey've taken.

perhaps underneath zeyr hard shell of an exterior, expertly crafted to remain above the imperial drama of the fumi court, the fearsome 'king ylet-malfo' is filled with a terrible, terrible dread, and a secret fear that when it all ends, he will be the one the blame falls to.

won't stop zem from committing war crimes tho :3

as the only son of the great emperor-queen of xal, osia was groomed from a young age to be the royal advisor to whichever sister of his was the last one standing. zey excel in zeyr studies and the manipulation of the fumi court, to the point where, disregarding all previous traditions, zey killed zeyr sisters and mother zemself, becoming the first fumi king since the days of old. but zey take no joy in the monotonous life as the supreme leader, the 'king ylet-malfo,' a most ominous name chosen by the all-mother at his ascension ceremony.

but when he meets the mysterious traveler, somehow found in the vacuum of space, he sees a life he wants to live. iliou cares not for the intrigue of the court, for the politics or military strength of the empire. and though its a concept completely alien (haha) to fumi, osia thinks he loves him.

tenai, of course, ruins this all. it's the nature of the fumi to destroy, the only way they know how to live. the savage destruction of one planet after another only makes sense, but how was osia supposed to know iliou cared for the little blue-red ball so much? and seeing iliou with such a clear attachment to the pathetic planets strikes a fear into iliou, only make zem want it more, because he can't be replaced in iliou's heart.

yet his frantic pleas only serve to turn iliou away, iliou who has secretly manipulated the ships computers to forbid any attack from ever targeting the little planet, iliou who he will not see again for centuries. but when iliou returns, when iliou withdraws his protection from the planet and its people, only to disappear again, osia feels the fear again. zey'll destroy the planet, raze it to the ground, but something else is in motion here, and he knows to ignore it is to face his doom.
