normal tehyan refugee, this guy. he's not from around here, though he might not be entirely truthful about exactly where he is from. normally in a near constant state of grumpy, he would really like to just be left alone.

emil is part of the canyon camp, and falls in with the main group. though he rarely speaks himself, he's always listening to what the others have to say.

and, despite his best efforts, he finds his affection for his new friends growing. but he has a job to do, and he knows it. he can’t get attached. he shouldn’t. but… was it really so wrong to sit next to sillon one last time?

born into a small religious convent of northern alni, emil has little experience socializing with other people, misunderstanding common tehyan customs and language patterns. his first journey to the south is interrupted by the fumi invasion, leaving him to take refuge with sillon's group of survivors.

or at least, that's the story he's been told to use by the scientists that created him. in reality, emil is a clone carefully designed by the fumi intelligence services to keep an eye on the tehyan survivors. but as he finds genuine companionship with the tehyans he has been spent to spy on, emil begins to doubt several things he has taken for granted. he was created to do this job, but could there ever be the possibility of being something more?
