part one: dawn and hollythe happiest dawn's ever been is growing up with holly. losing her best friend changes her forever. dawn doesn't believe in soulmates, but holly was probably hers. |
part two: dawn and carlislehighly depressed after holly's death, dawn switches schools and meets carlisle in her film class. they start dating at 17 and move in together at 18. they were in love, then. he was the only person she'd talk to after losing holly. she has since withdrawn back into herself, speaking rarely, even with him. she's there, but she's not. she sleeps in his bed, but she slips through his fingers like sand. |
