Nero's job is to scout out and collect intel on new given areas. Nero's job is considerably dangerous, given that its a one man mission. Though if the area being scouted is a ( ex; a town or city ) or somewhat safer place he usually takes someone with him for extra coverage.

What makes the job so dangerous is due to the other clans themselves. Since they could very well be closed off and not so accepting of other ginjinka species. Though Reeds crew have vials to use to enchant their enemies into submission. The vials themselves are extremely limited and can only be restocked when they have to go back to their own clan. The bottles are only used if Reed gives the direct order himself.

Nero is one of the top ranked members of the group. He may not appear or seem the type, but he is very capable given with his line of work. He is also very well liked within the group. Due to him being very sociable, and easy to get along with.

Despite being in the top ranks; he is not one to gloat about his status. He and the other members he considers as part of his family. ...Though Yami, he considerably keeps his distance from. Since Nero is not a fan of his torturous treatment, or resentment towards mostly everyone else.

Nero hates Yami's medical treatment very much so, that he will go so far as to actively avoid being healed by him. Which results in other members having to hold him down or knock him out, for his own well being.
