Good luck on revamping Hodgeys, btw! If they were distinct enough back when for me to recognize this base as a particular DA species without even knowing a name and never having owned one myself, they must have had something going for them. I'd love to see what you do with the species - it's nice to see an old DAnimal that isn't a fumi-clone or dog being revived wheeeeeeeze. Some of their old art made me think of sleipnir horse-dragons and I think it's kind of charming. c:
Actually, do you know where Poco comes from? I only got lucky with this one but so far as I'm aware, Poco's origins are totally lost to the sands of time. The person who I got them from literally said they were a pegasus! I... have no idea how anyone would think that but I thought it was hilarious to say the least.
Also, my spouse Jesseth was planning on joining the old group so she can make a common one. Do you happen to still have the old traits list that she could use?

as for Poco, i couldnt tell you - im certain i didnt make it, and it doesnt look like one any of the official co-designers made, so my thought was its a MYO or someone nabbed the base without asking and made a design, bc its not in the official group and ive never seen it ;;
Lol I shouldn't laugh but I'd figured their disappearance had probably been due to "things going nuclear" bc of all the random deleted deviations and deactivated accounts. I'm glad you've still held onto them despite that, though. Sometimes shit happens and I'm always in favor of attempting revamps on old projects you really cared about. c':

Weird, though! So Poco might be "off the grid" so to speak, which is p interesting. I think the person who I traded with for them actually got the design off of............ chickensmoothie of all places?? It's really bizarre and I could NOT for the life of me find any sale posts there regarding it despite digging through forty or fifty pages of the person's comments (yeah I know you're probably thinking "why would she go through all this effort wtf, but I just like knowing what I own and this was when I was still trying to figure out what she even was and was desperate for clues RIP").
yeah i completely wiped it from my accounts, but kept the group up in case i go back to it, and once i have my PC fixed up im going to re-release the species and upload new trait sheets etc, so tell your partner to go wild with traits!

Also she wants me to let you know she feels you on the computer issues - we've actually been restoring her old data to a new harddrive for almost a week now the data transfer is so slow hrgh. She's going to be joining once her computer isn't AFK and is currently just chilling out next to me doodling hodgeys. xux
Thanks again for considering Poco canon, though. I really appreciate it. She's a good little pink pal and I'm relieved I can keep her. It's nice to know what her traits roughly are too. <3
